Utah will have some momentum going into tournament. Committee will probably keep them close in Provo. Was the Utah BYU match close this year? always a battle. BYU beat Utah pretty bad, but I don't think Utah knew much about their lineup then ... they are passing much better now and D has improved

These two women need to stop yapping and start commentating on the match! Pigs will fly before that happens ...

Utah is likely to head to one of the Big XII subregionals, maybe one of the Floridas.

RPI futures has them at 15, they could still make a case they don't have a signature win but no bad losses and they won their conference are also ranked pretty high in the coaches poll never say never.

That RPI futures is wrong because it doesn't take into account the good win bonuses, which BYU does not get and everyone around them will. At this point in the season, last week's RPI is a much better indicator than Penguin's Futures w/o Adjustments. They won't be Top 16. I mean, Colorado St. is on the verge of not getting a seed, and they at least have the H2H above BYU. And the coaches' poll has nothing to do with selection.

Arizona also lost to USC and may lose to in-state rival ASU tonight. Kansas state, Oklahoma also taking loses Wednesday. Utah making the tournament helps BYU getting one of the last seeds.

I know historically they don't use the coaches poll but they do look at it. It says they do. I think BYU should be seeded. Just my opinion also if they aren't they will very possibly the highest ranked team that goes unseeded which makes them scary.

Why did it take so long for Beth to get Anae in the back row? She's a pretty solid receiver for a freshman, and doing way better than everyone they tried out before her.

CSU will get a seed for similar reasons: 3 other Colorado teams making tournament, so 2 or possibly all 3 other Colorado teams will be sent to Fort Collins.
