Oh my. Lots of big jumpers on this team. I'm 6'4" but I'm lucky if I can jump over a phone book.

Taylor has some serious hops. Looks like she has recovered from her knee injury! Not sure how much people watched her in high school, but she was a monster. She gets up high and she hits a heavy ball. It's scary when she's at her best! What excites me is the fact that volleyball was always a 1/2 concentrated sport of hers along with track until the end of her high school career. In addition, she missed a year because of an ACL tear, plus she's never really played top flight club volleyball. I think her game could take off in college, and she isn't short in the athleticism/skills to make it happen.

I'm still excited/curious to see how Morgan will be used this year. As middles go, we already have three pretty established greats in Lohman and the Tapps, so it's hard to see anyone breaking into there. Maybe on the right side? Who knows. It might be a couple years before we see a lot of her with the personnel we have now. Her athleticism is certainly apparent, however.

She might really benefit from a redshirt year. Playing time is going to be hard to come by this year for a lot of players.

IMO, she was still fairly raw and still learning the game when she was injured. A year of training under Hugh and the MN program could do wonders for her.

Really looking forward to Morgan's career now that she is focused 100% on volleyball... Sooo much potential Gophers future looks bright with the 2015 class...SSS and Morgan.

The B1G coaches show much more respect for Minnesota than AVCA. Minnesota picked 5th in the conference, ahead of ranked Michigan State and Ohio State.

Would have been nice to see Daly Santana on that list, too.
Well, just more fuel to stoke her fire, I guess.

I expect Daly to have an outstanding senior year. I can't wait to see her play this season!
