I think Fitzmorris, Stivrins, and Plummer will be the top 3 (with Fitzmorris at #1). I think Lanier will be the clear #1. She's the most terminal HS/club OH to come out in awhile. She's as legit as it gets when it comes to putting balls away. Strongly disagree.

You don't know what you are talking about, yet that never prevents you from chiming in. Your comment just makes no sense whatsoever. Boy did I ever hit a nerve. I really just wanted to praise the Nebraska Boosters for so being so faithful and loyal to their school and everyone seems to be acting like a kid who was caught with his hand in the cookie jar. I think the Huskers are doing an awesome job of bringing in this abundance of talent, which will lift their program back to their glory days. This is going to make the B1G even stronger on the national scene and make the Huskers a strong contender for national championships. Which speaks directly to what I said, "you dont know what you are talking about" While your goal may have been to praise their support group or program, what you really did was suggest they committed NCAA recruiting violations as boosters wouldnt be able to participate in the recruitment of student athletes in any way. Yes, suggesting a program is breaking NCAA rules would normally strike a nerve.

If you read the posted articles, you would realize that the Match Club, our booster club, had nothing to do with landing Briana. Instead, you would have noted that a combination of Coach Cook’s personal welcome, as well as visits with Dennis Leblanc, our AD for academics, and Boyd Epley, assistant director for strength and conditioning, sealed the deal. In other threads, you’re notorious for knocking other programs to promote your own, so the only person getting caught with his hand in the cookie jar is you. I could make a stronger joke there, but I’ll digress, as calling you out on your maladroit comment is sufficient.

I find it easier to just respectfully say "you don't know what you are talking about" It's short, succinct and above all accurate.

I appreciate Coach Cook speaking up about Holman’s sand situation: “For us, it’s OK to sit a year (indoors) with our depth chart, and she’ll have a chance to start on her masters, which she wants… To me, it’s win-win, let her sit a year, but to hold her out of sand is the part that doesn’t make a lot of sense.” John reasons that LSU and Nebraska won’t even play each other in sand this season and notes that an NCAA sand championship isn’t even on the line for either squads. I'm also glad that John points out how Fran took a transfer that's currently training with LSU and is eligible and ready to play next season. Hopefully the rest of the story will be told shortly.

Dottie, I never accused the Boosters of doing anything unethical but if you want to believe the Boosters, in or out of the Match Club, are all pure as falling snow, then you are full of crap. BTW, I predict you will be seeing two or more players transferring out of Nebraska VB in the next three years. I never said I knew everything like you constantly do. Now we will see if my hunch here is accurate. But the way you wrote it made it seem like you were insulting the boosters and the program, and coming from a PSU fan, whose program is still recovering from their scandal, it comes off as unprofessional and hypocritical

Just stop, for your own sake.

The fact as I understand it is the LSU coach didn’t want to release Brianna for immediate play as she was concerned that she would not finish her education and turn Professional as soon as possible. I actually applaud the LSU Coach for caring about the education. My biggest argument with Brianna’s argument is the fact she turned down real scholarship offers that would have been in active this semester, including Penn State, to go to Nebraska that couldn’t offer a scholarship. Something doesn’t seem right about this situation.

Something doesn’t seem right about this situation. It's true that Nebraska couldn't offer Briana a scholarship right away but with visiting with Briana she told us personally that she would be going on scholarship in May after Pollmiller graduates. It may have been a different story if there would never be a scholarship available at anytime. Her situation isn't any different than any high school player enrolling at mid-term instead of the fall as I understand it is that they either have to pay their own way until a scholarship is available after graduation or they can be on scholarship right away when they enroll at mid-term because one of the seniors has already graduated. In this case with Pollmiller being the lone senior Briana will get Pollmiller's when Pollmiller graduates in May.
