Only 2 liberos. Morey and Nolan. Not sure about the latter. I'm not sure Dagostino is one of the Top 6 setters in the nation either. Agreed. Libero choices are very strange and no one on the first team. Taner should have been at least third team! Second that!!!! They should have included 1 Libero for first team, and Taner should have been one of the top 3.
Benson from Oregon got left out which I disagree with as well.

I did not look, but was anyone left off the HM list that was listed on the all-region team?

CONGRATS to Ali Frantti - FOY! Need her to play well tomorrow! Yes! Told y'all that the middles won't get it this year. If there was no Frantti, then yes I can see a middle win it. But not this year.

Well, we had a discussion earlier about whether the committee would feel bound to follow the same formula for positions of players as was required on the All-Region teams. Last year they did seem to follow that formula, but this year they clearly felt that was not required/appropriate.

Nia Grant should've been on the 2nd team; looks like she got the sympathy vote being a senior. Hayleigh Washington was robbed. She, instead of Ali Franti, should have been FOY. Briana Holman? Really?? And very questionable choices for 1st team accolades for Bugg, Burgess, and Holston. I feel they deserved 2nd team at best. Ece Taner should have been at least 2nd team AA. She was robbed too. Committee did a poor job of compiling the third-team selections and could have really made the list better.

Congrats to Kadie Rolfzen, Kelsey Fien, and Mary Pollmiller!!! Well deserved!
(I wish Wong-Orantes would've gotten a nod though.)

Haleigh Washington was robbed. She, instead of Ali Franti, should have been FOY. Washington did not play enough sets to be considered by NCAA

Congratulations to Ajanaku, Bugg, Burgess and Lutz. Wish Gilbert was included but nevermind, she will prove it tomorrow. So stoked for Burgess. She is the reason why Stanford has been good this year. Go Card! Boukather and Gilbert got Honorable Mentions.

Agreed. Libero choices are very strange and no one on the first team. Taner should have been at least third team! Agree Liberos not respected. Sad when they are such a big part of the game but are left out. Congrats to all as I'm sure they are all deserving great players, but certainly have to question the reasoning behind leaving a Libero off the first team and then the choices for 2nd and 3rd team is questionable. But without watching Liberos play over an entire season, it's easy to be biased.

Holman averaged nearly 4 kills per set, hit .383 and had 1.47 blocks per game. Completely outplayed Alhassan head to head. She deserves it.

Wish Napper had made one of the first three teams. She was spectacular this year. But happy for Bergren. She was tremendous as well.

NO BIRKS ON FIRST TEAM?!?!! That makes me sad. I hope she has a stellar senior season individually and team wise. Fantastic player!
