Badgers win the final game 30-24, improve to 5-2.
Made a couple more hitting errors at the end to bring their percentage back down to earth... only hit .450ish for the match. Live stats are frozen at 25-23 in game three, so I can't tell what the final numbers are.

I was a little surprised by the hitting stats, because Marshall dug quite a few hard hit balls. Not much of a block, though. The Badgers looked dominant in game one, good in game two, and a little sloppy late in game three. The passing was pretty good, and Simpson was able to do all kinds of things with the offense. Shaw got dug some on the back slide, unlike last night, but she also was effective hitting from the left, right, and middle. Weidner had a really nice match, obviously. The defense was again solid, allowing the Badgers to get in transition. Solid effort all around for the Badgers. Wack has been really effective, and Meierotto has really stepped it up in the back row. Marshall is a lot better than the last time I saw them three years ago, but they just don't have the size or athleticism that the Badgers do and missed some serves and allowed a few balls to fall that really shouldn't have. Still, they have at least three freshmen starting (Billingy, Cahill, Arias) who have talent, and when they develop, the Herd might be Thundering through the MAC.
