The most likely team looking this far ahead to make the Final Four from this years elite 8 is Stanford picking Penn State would seem next most likely since they seem to be in contention every year. I am surprised how many people aren't picking Florida. They looked young against Stanford but I think they will be a force next year and I like their chances. If they beat Texas early season and don't suffer too many losses they could get a top 4 seed. I like this Florida squad any team with a middle like Alhassan and an RS like Holston will be in contention. If the outsides get a little more consistent they are in great shape.

If Florida can pass (not a given) they will be more athletic and more talented than almost anybody, and are in that first flight with PSU, and Stanford.
Then the 1A tier would be... Texas will replace Eckermann and Bell with more experience and be fine. Nebraska is certainly in the mix no matter where the final four is, but in Omaha, yeah they're going.
I wouldn't expect to see BYU and UNC back here next year. UNC losses Nelson, McAdoo, and Taner. I think they can replace the offense but not sure they can replace Taner's passing and defense. BYU loses Hamson. It's only one player, but it is a big piece of who they were this year.

Is Texas in rebuilding or reloading mode for '15?
Regionals are in Austin next season, but at this point have to see how the freshmen perform before being confident the team makes it to the regional.
They should be able to reload enough to get through first and second round to regionals. Then it depends on how the team has matured to that point for HCA to become a factor. Hopefully the team gets to that point. Hope you are correct. I want Texas sports to compete for national championships. Elliott winning it all in 2012 and following that up with reaching the semis in '13 and '14 accomplished that. Still it's a disappointment to lose to Wisconsin and BYU the past 2 seasons, although Penn State should be very happy for the gifts! And of course Texas could say the same for Penn State's loss to Oregon in '12.
I'm sure Elliott is the first to say some changes need to be made to get over the hump. Changes in the lineup and maybe changes in his recruiting priorities?

Stanford worked Florida and psu dispatched Stanford. I'll give Florida some credit they beat Texas but I still don't believe Texas was in same tier as psu and Stanford. Putting Florida in class with those two programs is a little of a stretch for me but hey maybe they prove me wrong next year. It would def be great for sec, I'm just not ready to buy that yet.

It's the passing and digging I hope that stays strong, we just graduated 3 senior defensive specialists. Next in line of experience would be O Rourke I think she always had the quickest foot speed out of the three so hopefully she will improve immensely in passing, digging, and reading.
