...if you are going to transfer you better feel pretty good about where you land because you only get one free pass. Tell that to Taylor Simpson. Man, Nebraskans still salty about T-Simp.

If Oregon is running a 5-1, I will be surprised if Borup can beat out Rasmussen. No one will beat out LVW and a player of her caliber deserves to have at least a winning record in the postseason. She is 2-3 at the moment

Whoever hits the higher clip I feel like will take the OH2 spot. Or maybe they will play OPP. Who knows. This is a good problem for Oregon to have

In my opinion, I think every OH is going to have to fight for their spot, even LVW, she really struggled last season. Hopefully they will use this to push themselves even harder this offseason. I'm really excited to see what this 2018 squad can do!!

What about Lauren Page? Will she figure into the OH spot or will she be strictly a MB?

One Taylor graduated and another one transferred into the program!
They are both ranked 17th in their respective classes. Must be fate!

I do agree the OHs will be up for grabs... the setting the past four years has just deteriorated the level of all hitters. Last year LVW could have been mistaken for a D3 player.

How many D3 players were Honorable Mention All-PAC? She didn't play up to her own (high) standards, but that's just a nasty and useless comment. She looks better and is going to have a strong senior year.

Catching up on some reading this weekend. I don't think this has been posted yet. Prepvolleyball's Defensive Dandies List prepvolleyball.com/articles/high-school/defensive-dandies/2018-defensive-dandies-part-i-dandy-lions/402019Congratulations to Brooke Nuneviller on being named to the Dandy Lion First Team. "“Dandy Lions.” The players on this list are all-around high school or club talents who project as back row animals at the collegiate level. Basically, if they can dig it up at an elite level but played all the way around for high school and/or club, they’re on this list (provided a coach nominated them, of course)." 'Brooke Nuneviller, Sr., Corona del Sol (Tempe, Arizona) — Described by an opposing coach as “counting for two players,” Nuneviller averaged five kills (593 total) and four digs per set for the state Conference 6A runner-up Aztecs. The two-time reigning Arizona Gatorade Player of the Year is No. 27 in the Senior Aces and will probably play libero at Oregon. Widely considered the best player in Arizona, Nuneviller was named First Team All-Arizona as well as First Team Conference 6A and Central Region POY. “Brooke has a tremendous work ethic, always striving to get better every time she steps onto the court,” said coach Ben Maxfield. “Her competitive spirit and leadership on the court elevates everyone’s level of play. Brooke makes every player on the team feel as if they are the greatest player in the world. She is relentless in her pursuit of the ball and keeps so many rallies alive with her high volleyball I.Q. and athleticism.”'

Oops I missed that one, thanks! I only knew Brooke, so her mention jumped out at me. Congrats to both.

#ProDucks Update -
We have a couple of Ducks headed to Germany - Amanda Benson, after playing in France last year, has signed to play for the German runners-up last year in Dresden. Taylor Agost will be making her debut as an opposite in Aachen (their team name is Ladies in Black, which I think is kind of cool). Will be exciting to see them face off and this should be a great opportunity for both of them.
Martenne Bettendorf is leaving Germany and will be heading to play in Switzerland with NUC Neufchatel.
Alaina Bergsma has renewed with her Korean team KGC Ginseng. She struggled with injuries last year but still carried a huge load offensively for them.
