If JM and Keegan Cook were both recruiting the same star player from T-street, JM would win out every time right. Cuz who would choose to play for the apprentice when you have a chance to play for the master. T-street will be converted into a Notre Dame pipeline. No, it won't.

Congrats to Keegan Cook, looking forward to see what Cook can add to the UW program.

These "pipelines" usually have a finite lifespan. A group of players wants to play together, they join the same elite club, they all end up recruiting each other for the same team, and then they start signing NLIs. But as all the attention is on that group of players, the next set of elite players ends up clumping together somewhere else.

Some recruits may find the UW campus, academic programs, Seattle, the team, facilities, fans, proximity to matches for family and friends, and the Pac 12 as more desirable. Some may not. I agree, though, that Keegan has to prove himself before he gets "OMG" status and the recruits start lining up to play for him.

Washington and Wisconsin are scheduled to play each other for the next three years, so it will be "Sheff vs. Cook", sounds like a Food Network show.

Who knows if Tstreet will produce enough top notch players to warrant being recruited by McLaughlin?

I was told by an involved coach that Wisconsin is withdrawing from that arrangement with USC, Washington and Maryland. Similarly, UCLA dropped out of the "four schools, for four years" arrangement with Stanford, PSU and Illinois after one year. A different PAC team is replacing UCLA.
We'll know more when Fall schedules are released.

Who would, in your objective opinion (an oxymoron, right?), have been a better hire? Jerritt, Rubio, Shaw, Rose, Wise, Karch. I can't believe what I just saw . . .
