We are looking into purchasing a setter training target. I've notice multiple options online and I'm looking for recommendations. Which one to buy, where to buy it from, can you find them used (in good condition)?

There was the ring of fire, which made all the coaches go oooh and ahhh. But the IP was in litigation and the product was pulled off the market. Sports Imports developed a new one, I saw it at the AVCA convention but it isn't in the web site. Very nice, very stable, it won't topple over if the setter manages to hit it with a fast set.

I agree this is a very good product. Have heard that it is in the range of 1,300 for both pieces. One being piece with the net and the other being the midpoint target. Both being rectangle (window). The piece with the net has the rectangle portrait. The one with out net is landscaped.

Put PVC legs on an square ballcart (take the wheels off--they should fit in the PVC).
if you need more accurate, put a practice golf ball on a piece of elastic, between two posts on the corners of the cart, and string elastic between two.
just my $.02.

We made our own square target out of scrap lumber (2'x4's). Made a 3x3 target grid using 4 bungee cords. It fits around a ball cart and works pretty well. I can send a picture of it on request.

+1 to the Park and Sun from Amazon. I have 3 in our club. They changed the model a big for the worse a few years ago (I liked the bigger wheels better) but it's great and not too expensive.
