Where is Taylor Wheatley? No longer on the roster. I know but where is she? She played on the club Nollan coached for 2 years. Why recruit her to play if the talent not up to par? Or was she never going to get much playing time behind Bricio, Ford and Lanier? Hope it was her decision to walk away. Nice girl.

Her family literally bleeds cardinal and gold; dad was a basketball player at SC, mom was a SC Song Girl, her two older brothers play/ed baseball here. (Oldest bro just graduated and is with the Toronto Blue Jays, and the other is a junior and the starting pitcher for the baseball team, so that family is USC all the way.) She most likely knew she wasn't going to play anyway, but it was probably special for her to continue that family tradition. Sad to see her and Schmidt go! Also, I didn't catch any of the spring games; any thoughts from those who did? Not really surprised if Gillis is the one who is leaving. She's still listed on the roster, but she lost her spot to Ruddins and Lanier will be coming in too. Maybe headed back home to the Midwest?

Gillis is still on the roster, so I think the tip above was wrong. That's not a foolproof way from which to make assumptions. I guess it would be nice if she transferred to Wisky ... BTW, sorry for the Duke loss the other day. Refs may have stole that one for the Blue Devils.

The Buffs just announced two new arrivals. Anybody got any intel?
6'5 MB/OH from Las Vegas, NV Zuri Smith
and 5'6 L/DS from Los Gatos, CA Gabby Carta-Samuels

I know a bit more about Smith only. She is a great blocker and will maybe get limited playing time her freshmen year especially with what the Buffs already have. She will improve and need to adjust to the college game. Her hitting will come wit time. Again, she does have a huge block and quick feet!

Is that the same Kyle who was fired by Montana state? yes...word is Mick gave him a glowing recommendation to get him the job at Montana St. 3 years ago....is he trying to help the guy find his feet after he turned the entire state of Montana against him? Could be...
