I’m in Salt Lake for the Sissel/Mormon Tabernacle Choir Concert. Guessing most if not all of you have never heard of Sissel. I hadn’t either, but went 15 years ago to her Christmas Concert with the choir, and fell in love with her voice. So clear, clean, and she makes it look effortless. My husband thinks she’s pretty easy on the eyes, too. She was the haunting voice in Titanic. I’ll report back how the concert was.

She was the haunting voice in Titanic. Celine Dion haunts my nightmares Me too. Sissel is the background beautiful voice during the movie. But why they didn’t ask her to sing the theme song, I’ll never know. She also did vocals on Lord of The Ring movies. She is the best singer I’ve ever heard. And I’ve heard a lot of great singers at Concerts and musical shows. No one is better. Even Kristin Chenoweth.

Had a great weekend in SLC. Long story, but we got to meet Sissel. Even had breakfast with her. She’s as nice as her and her voice are beautiful.
This song was the highlight, for me, of the concert. You could have heard a pin drop. Long standing ovation at the end. Song is called “Slow Down”. She hopes to record it soon. Hope so, because I need it on repeat.

Nice! Heard really good things about Dear Evan Hansen. There will be a new “Dolly” when you see it, which is a good thing. Come From Away and Aladdin are REALLY good.

I have seen many complaints about the Cats movie cgi being in the "uncanny valley" of too close to human-looking and yet disturbingly not human-looking.
Cats is pretty much what SF writers call a "fix-up" -- when you combine a bunch of short stories into one longer story. The seams between the stories are usually (as is true for Cats) fairly obvious.
