Certain colleges like to recruit players who cant pass...................... Is that just a random statement or is this Jeopardy and the question will be later?

Certain colleges like to recruit players who cant pass...................... Ok enough already. Texas hate gets old. Yes texas likes to recruit girls who can hammer the ball, but can't oass, but they still become AA. Get over it

I agree that VB Mag lists must be taken with a gigantic shaker of salt.

Lots of teams do that. It's just that Texas lands the best ones.
From a Minnesota perspective, I find it interesting Morgan is on this list. I assume she's been playing this JO season, but Kokoro isn't going to get much notice, you'd think.

No Plummer on the 25 to watch? Hence my comment above.

Oregon has second-most with 4 (plus two underclassmen to watch) But not their top 2015 recruit. I don't know much about the selection process for Volleyball Magazine, but if Vander Weide isn't in the Top 50 and Plummer isn't mentioned in the underclassmen to watch (not to mention Van Winden or Iosia), then I don't think I can put much stock in those lists.

At least Vander Weide set a new record for the highest ranked PV senior ace not to make fab 50. The previous record holder was probably Olivia Okoro. She was ranked 24th in her class and not selected as fab 50 but I think VB MAG got that one right

i think the strongest upcoming recruiting classes will favor teams like USC, Florida & Texas.
Wisconsin got some good ones' but not on the caliber of some of the quality gets for USC and Florida over the 2016-17 & 18s. Add Texas into that list as well. Only 6 kids on the court at one time, and there are only about 8 elite's on these lists'. I take them any day on the court over a fab 50.
Stanford and Nebraska got elite's as well. Those star players matter. Hodson, Mclellan, Fitzmorris, Lanier.....etc.... they are game changers and there are quite a few more than could add to that elite list. I don't see Wisconsin grabbing any of those. or Oregon. They got lots of great talent though. I watch lots of volleyball, as do others in here. and you have GOT to get elite's to stay a top 5 program.
