So Sheffield is all talk? Tom Izzo is a great coach who does not always have the best players..............but gets to the FF this year with a amazing coaching job. Um, Tom gets recruits. I don't know what you're talking about. Not KY recruits, but he's got a bevvy of McD's AAs. Bo Ryan doesn't get the bigs.

I think the secret to some of these list is to get your name on them early. Some of these players were really good when they were younger but haven't improved significantly to the point where they deserve to stay on these lists. I would say lists from prepvolleyball.com and JVA are much more accurate. And who had the top recruiting class from prep?!?!? No one, yet.

Last time I checked MSU was a 7th seed in the tourney which means they were ranked or slotted by the committee as the 25th- 28th best team in the tourney. This means to me that MSU does not have a bevy of players who are considered future 1st round draft choices.

Fact of the matter is they get far better recruits than does WI....EVERY YEAR. You can conveniently change the argument to draft picks, but that would support my assertion that Bo coaches up more than Izzo.

This year MSU is a #7seed, last season a #4. Bo in the eyes of experts think he has better players than MSU these past 2 seasons. Argue with them.

What do star rankings have to do with anything? Star rankings for high school athletes really mean nothing. Izzo is the best late season coach around. I do think if anybody is going to beat Kentucky it will be WI.

bigfan...what does Tom Izzo have to do with the list and who is on it? And why are we talking about basketball? I don't think either Tom Izzo or Bo Ryan had much effect on who was on this list.

I do not want to mention volleyball coaches. He wants to be able to trash Sheffield without using his name. There was no real activity on Texas threads yesterday and got bored and had to find another team.
