FYI Ebony was in Iowa attending her grandma's funeral. So that can clear the speculation.

After the mental/emotional struggles she experienced on top of the physical ones, which she documented on her blog, as well as her less-than-stellar sophomore season, I'm not surprised Ebony is looking for a fresh start. I hope she gets a release. She appealed and won! Mick is not happy.

Actually, does anyone know the Farm's etymology? I always wondered how that became associated with a sports venue at Stanford. The Stanford Campus is situated on what used to be a farm. Thanks, USAVolley! I had wondered that for years and always forgot to ask on here. Also, good to see you on here! Ready for the FIVB Club World Championship next week?

Yeah, I figured if he gave Gillis her release unconditionally, there wouldn't be a leg to stand on in denying (even via appeal) the same type of release for Ebony.

I guess this eliminates the need for the #freeAbercrombie hashtag.

She's looking at three schools. Two in the B1G and one in the Big XII.

Were she to land at Illinois, that would make that team even tougher.

An appeals board overturned his decision. Right. But, unless her situation was different than that of Gillis, would have been difficult for the appeal not to be approved.
