Not calling her dumb but Molly does not have the stats academically to get into some of these schools (Stanford, Wisconsin, Illinois...yeah probably not going to happen)

Illinois acceptance rate is pretty high. Test scores are about average, maybe a little higher, than most four year universities. Its GPA is kinda high at 3.5, but not too bad.

Kids are getting into Illinois with sub 3.5's. Its an exceptional school and their admissions for athletes is above the average school but it isnt anywhere near the standard for non-athletes.

depending on how bad the coach wants the athletes, the athlete will 95% of the time get in unless their academics are just abysmal. I know various people who have gotten into Stanford with as low as 25 ACTs and 3.5 gpas for non-revenue sports...im sure she'll have no problem getting into illinois
