I'm sorry, Villanova vs Creighton as a conference match is just weird.

Schedule isn't out yet but rumor is TAMU is playing at Stanford to begin season and Colorado State I know is planning a trip to College Station in return for Aggies going there but other than that not much else is known at this time other than the Aggie tourney likely has to move to at least the second weekend when normally the first if we are indeed opening up in Palo Alto.

Volleyblog Seattle supports the rumor: volleyblogseattle.blogspot.com/2015/05/college-pac-12-volleyball-nonconference.html...at least that they are playing Stanford (and probably Minnesota).

Loyola Marymount (Toggle to 15-16) www.lmulions.com/sports/w-volley/sched/loyo-w-volley-sched.htmlLMU without Dewitt, Maxfeldt, Keil vs. UCLA without Lowe should be interesting early season matchup. LMU still has some talent. Sponcil is a stud. Bush has a nasty serve and senior Tedrow runs a fast offense. They also added a Canadian Oppo and Tennessee transfer, LMU should be competitive.

Anyone think LMU can go 12-0 again pre-season again with that schedule? I could see possible losses to Virginia, UCLA, and UCSB, but I also don't think its out of the question.

It's possible, but I wouldn't count on it. The Good for LMU: Sponcil very solid, Bush has a nasty serve (and plays good defense, I expect her to see more time this season), Tedrow experienced Setting, Libero Castellanos had a good freshman campaign. Mirabello and Suaava are Seniors and both can play MB/RS, I think they will see a lot of lineup changes earlY. Concerns for LMU: They really only utilized 5 attackers all season last year. Their top two attackers, Dewitt and Keil, are gone. Almost 800 kills lost. Sponcil had a lot of kills as well and led the team in attacks. Outside Attack is a concern for LMU. If they can pass well enough still then this won't be as big of a problem but if the Lions can't pass well and it turns into a high outside battle, they may be in trouble. Virginia, LBSU, UCLA, UCSB, San Diego St will be their toughest pre-season matches. I wouldn't put money that LMU goes 12-0 again, but if they gel early it just might happen. An early win at UCLA could give them some momentum, and two years in a row beating the Bruins.

Just noticed Creighton's non conference schedule - has to be the toughest in the nation? The 2014 w/l% for these teams would have been the best non con last year. They probably will need this - as the Big East could be worse this year.
