Wow, North Carolina putting it on the line in the pre-conference part of the season. @usc, Stanford, BYU and 4 Big 10 teams. Who will have more Big 10 wins, Maryland and Rutgers combined, or UNC? Nebraska, not so much on the line. Between 1-3 real matches depending on your expectations for Oregon and Iowa State. Will Creighton-Nebraska at Centurylink Center be the largest regular season crowd in D1 this year? Almost 19,000 seats if they can sell them, but it is a Tuesday night. They had 8,000 fans in 2008, which was a Sunday, but Creighton wasn't as good then as they are now. Is Creighton keeping the ticket sales or are they splitting it?

I could be mistaken but aren't the Ducks awfully young this year? Nebraska replaces Pollmiller with Hunter and upgrades any position they want with Foecke. 4 seniors. 4 juniors. And Foecke. They've got an All American middle on the B side of the net in practice every day. They are loaded. Texas is a good match which I think both teams have a good shot to win. I don't know that I'd give Oregon an equal shot but I don't know Oregon that well which is why I said it depends on your expectations of them. I'd rather watch Nebraska play Florida, to be honest so maybe that's my bias.

Nebraska must be thinking quite highly of itself if it considers a Sweet 16 team returning 6 starters and bringing in a Top 5 class not even a "real match." Talking like that, you'd think they'd have been to the Final Four at least once since the twins were in middle school.

I don't even think he is a Nebraska fan.

Talking like that, you'd think they'd have been to the Final Four at least once since the twins were in middle school. I was looking at a team that lost Brenner, Ashen (both played every set) and Warner (played 123 of 125 sets). They lose their leading server, leading blocker and 40% of their passing attempts (Brenner + Bookout-Gonzalez). They have 9 players on the roster and only 2 seniors. I have no idea who Oregon is bringing in, which one of the reasons why I made the comment about "your expectations of them" - I clearly don't know everything going on there. Nebraska must be thinking quite highly of itself if it considers a Sweet 16 team returning 6 starters and bringing in a Top 5 class not even a "real match." I don't even think he is a Nebraska fan. I'm not. I don't like them even a little. I've been called an SEC apologist, a Penn State fan and a Texas hater, but never a Nebraska fan. I need a shower!

Is there a way to get this Thread/info pinned at the top of page like the Transfer thread and have all the schedules listed on first post like vbfreak808 set up?
It would be easier than having to scroll through all the posts to find schedules of interest.

Interesting that Oregon is staying in the Austin area after September 4 & 5 matches against Florida and Nebraska, respectively, at UT, and then playing Texas State in San Marcos on Tuesday, September 8. I really hope that means there's a Sunday match against Texas.

Interesting, the Big West is re-structuring schedules so Hawaii's will only have 3 conference road trips next year.

The Huskers and Blue Jays will probably do a 50/50 split, since Creighton's home court for Women's Volleyball is the D.J. Sokol Arena, not the CenturyLink Center.
