And since I hate dynasties on both mens and womens side (not the team, just hate when people win so much lol its jealousy), I really hope someone can beat Loyola next year and some unnamed team on the womens side

From Chicago and looks like an MIVA dynasty beginning. Two years straight and counting. Not to mention a great showing by the other Chitown area team. Blah Blah Blah Blah wahinefan, you couldn't have said it any better Again, NO ONE will debate that lewis and loyola are superior teams. They played some GREAT, and I mean GREAT volleyball and both were national championship caliber teams. But this doesn't entitle "omg MIVA IS THE GREATEST. DYNASTY." just yet, Mind you, I think that the top two in the MIVA, were superior to hawaii. Saving the OMG tag for next year

If Loyola can pull it off or lewis next year, I will give you the right to use OMG because thats when I will start worrying about the MIVA taking over

While some posters like to point out how annoying and obnoxious the fans, the announcers, the quality of the video ..., thank you to the VTers who appreciate a great performance when you see it as well as the exuberance of other fans.

The rule is, a conference must pull of victories 3 years in a row to get exposure. PSU on the womens side for example, correct me if I'm wrong, but before them (and since) the B1g was always "good" on the womens side but never dominant like the Pac or former Big west. When you have teams like Penn state winning, it attracts recruits to the whole conference and thats when ill be scared

Great game. Great teams, obviously good programs. And I will now concede that MIVA has the two best teams in the nation this year. Look for the targets on your backs.

Its true and I will state my point. I was cheering for Lewis and I have no problem with the MIVA, but there are certain loyola fans, namely one, and EVERYONE one on this board knows it, who can be pretty bad when it comes to Loyola fanatics. Ill be a buzz killington, but there was a reason I was cheering for lewis. Have NOTHING against Loyola, I however, do not like certain posters that are their fans on this site. WOOOOOOHOOOOOO!!!!!!! GO LOYOLA!!!!!!!!!
---
Great match to both teams! Not many championships have that intensity, high level of play, good coaching adjustments, and clutchness down to the wire. I was worried it would be a disappointment when the wheels were falling off for Loyola early, then they came back hammering Lewis and I thought Lewis might then throw in the towel. It's tough to come back and play great after a letdown (which both teams experienced early in the match). It was remarkable seeing soo many players for both teams kick it into a higher gear as the pressure mounted, when often you see teams become very one-dimensional as individual performers crumble late in a championship. Incredible match.
Frosh MB for Loyola is way better than I realized. Holy cow. Lateral movement, transition, upper body adjustments, arm swing, understanding of the game... I way underestimated him.
Lewis, gotta give a shout out. This match was a dog fight because your team refused to lose and kept stepping up. Wow.
Man I love volleyball! (Even Hawaii VB )

Well next year PSU, Irvine , Lewis way down. Who else can prevent a 3 peat? Irvine is not way down imo. Yes, La Cavera and Brinkly are gone, but they have some great hitters still.

And no surprise that they are 2 of the best recruiting coaching staffs in the nation. By that I mean they and very proactive with the kids and do a great job communicating. It's amazing how bad at recruiting some coaches are.
