Troy shouldn't be on the team. Anderson's still missing too many serves. Not sure if Sander will ever be a quick ball hitter on the pin in tran despite excelling in bics, he's getting control blocked or stuffed too easily when a high ball would give him better opportunity especially when Christensen's setting behind 3 meter line. Sander jumps high and hits hard but doesn't accelerate like Priddy, N'Gapeth, Lucarelli do. Opps like Pavlov and Zaytsev are quicker too.
Since Sander will never be a high level passer wonder if best to move him to opp and stabilize passing with Priddy/Jaeschke/unkown and Anderson instead.

Sander will never be a high level passer?? He was one of the leaders in the Italian league.. You're clueless. It takes about 6-7 years pro(according to Hugh M.) years from a player to full develop after college. Sander is EXCEEDING expectations as of now..
Troy gets better every year, finished 1st or 2nd in every major category in Poland. Yeah he's slow but so was Clay Stanley..
The whole team was just in preseason mode.. Pretty sure they will destroy Canada in any meaningful tournament.

Canada could make the same claims about 'preseason mode' and sat multiple starters. Regardless of all that, it was still 16-14 in the fifth. I don't think either team should be too high or too low afterwards.

I don't think we should define such player based on the campaign he has done in such pro league. Sometimes players succeed in Poland, but not in italy. Sometimes they do fine in Italy, but not in Russia. It all depends on the level and style of each pro league. Sander is evidently a bad passer. If he has been one of the leaders in Italy in this area...well, that might have to do with the fact that the league must be full of worst passers. Anyways, I've always been a big fan of him and I do hope he can improve before the World Cup.
