IMO I think Hilley is a more natural hitter. She's already hitting like she plays in college. I think she is an alright setter though, but watching that video below she's an elite hitter to me, not so much of an elite setter.

Hilley is a great hitter, but she's playing against high school competition in those videos. She's 6-foot maybe on a good day and really only sets for club. I think she runs a pretty good offense for being 16. If she goes on a growth spurt I'd say she'd be a great candidate for either position.

We grow and shrink each day. Just kidding. What I meant was that we've seen, recently, Hilley listed from 5'10" to 6'0", but not solely as the go-to hitter for club.

I didn't get the feeling those commentators were very familiar with volleyball other than a general knowledge. It seemed to me like the announcers had no idea of anything that was not on a press release sitting in front of them. There was no conversational flow, no actual interesting information beyond the colleges the girls have committed to. There was no mention of Mn Select and SBVB Elite playing each other for the 4th time this year. Everything they had to say just seemed like a one liner, I kept on waiting for a followup when they would broach something almost interesting and was always left disappointed. The match of SPVB and China was really a let down as they kept on going on and on about how SPVB had never faced that kind of a team. They did not seem to have any idea that China was being hosted in Aurora and had undoubtedly scrimmaged the ELite team many times as well as the couple of times they had actually played each other. It was really sad that these yahoos were chosen, I would rather listen to Joe Buck all day than those guys PS My favorite was when the new guy started talking about the following he had on twitter because one person had tweeted about him

I think Shook will give TX a chance to winning it all during her time in Austin.
