Wow I didn't expect LMU to sweep USD @ USD. Jamie Lea looked a lot better tonight. Sponcil had some really nice cut shots on some OOS plays. I feel like this LMU team is peaking at the right time.

Now that Pepperdine's season is over, I'm going to miss watching Okoro, Strehlow, and Dykstra play. All were competitors and very beneficial transfers to the program. Hope to see Dykstra go play professionally overseas indoors or through beach. Strehlow has one more beach season so hopefully she can win another title there. Good luck to them in their futures. Can't wait for what Wong can do in the future with these underclassmen.

Congratulations to BYU on winning the WCC. Alexa Gray seemed pretty emotional after the match. What a fantastic career she had at BYU. I wish her the best at whatever she decides to do after college, wether it be playing professionally or getting a job. She will be missed at BYU next year.

Santa Clara finishes its WCC season with a 4 set win at Pacific, 32-30. 26-28, 25-15 and 25-10. Macey Labass had career high 20 kills for Pacific, Wilk with 14, but Elman only 4 hitting -.233. Seems that Santa Clara keyed on her. For Santa Clara, Clayton with 16 kills, Hess with 15 and McCreadie with 11. Their block was also on tonight, with Lacey Maas and Anna McCreadie both with 10 blocks and Jensen Cunningham with 7 for a total of 19 team blocks.
BYU finishes conference play 16-2, San Diego 14-4 and LMU and Santa Clara both 13-5. No other teams above .500 in conference play, and will expect that these 4 will represent the WCC in the tournament.
