Do the Patriots go after Jay Hosack to be their new head coach? He has to the one of the best choices out there among assistants. He deserves a shot. Who else would be candidates? Would Ferguson come east? Would Price even be considered? Can they lure Sullivan away? Hosack -no Ferguson -no Sullivan -no

Hudson has a great resume and has accomplished a lot as a player. But what has he done as a coach to get a job like that? He has to win at Marymount before he would get that kind of promotion. Lots of unrest and chaos in Marymount athletic department. Tough to have an real success when combining that with lack of institutional support. Hudson was still able to improve the talent he had in his gym, and his kids take big leaps each year. I think he would do an excellent job at GMU if given the opportunity

I have no idea what institutationl support he is getting but with his staff and resume, I would have expected him to do a little more. Some other schools have come in at the same time (with coaches with less of a resume) and are winning. A lot of factors go into that obviously. With his class coming in though, maybe he does have that success this year. I just don't personally think he is quite ready yet. Again, I am pulling for him and think he has tremendous potential. Just don't think the timing is quite right.

What about Kevin Moore? He has the D1 experience they are looking for, as a former assistant there and current assistant on the women's team at LU-Chicago plus HC experience with his time at Juniata.

Jeremy Price, former head coach of GCU wouldn't be a bad choice. I think he's from the Maryland area too?

Kevin probably wouldn't do it, for non-volleyball reasons.
Jeremy coached at Navy, so I know he's lived there and been around that area for a while. Don't know his recruiting connections on the east coast, but I'm sure he could start them up rather quick.
If they want D1 head coaching experience, this could be open for a while. Fairfax is very close to some of the most expensive places to live in the country. It would be hard to have a decent lifestyle there on what they're willing to pay.
