yeah we beat all the A teams with all of their A players. We beat all the A teams with all the players they chose to send. Damn Karch! I can't believe he made China and Brazil send their scrubs to Omaha! I should have asked for my money back at the gate! No fun players to watch on the court. A team that got along of the court. An @$$%*!* coach who runs a system that wins. actually my apologies. i'm thinking of 2016 olympics part and left that out. we did win the grand prix we beat all the teams that were "sent". it's "fun" when you're winning against these sent teams ain't it?

I think people tend to forget that besides being a great player, Kiraly was a great teammate and gets what it takes to be on and make great teams. I don't see "it's my way or the highway" at all from him. I think he recognized there may be certain players who may be great, but wouldnt make for great teammates. well hugh managed the group pretty well i mean c'mon they made it all the way to the gold medal match. maybe he doesn't recognize the fact that even if they are not "great teammates" hey they win games together, they get the job done, and that must make everyone feel good. and maybe you should define what a great teammate is_________________________________________. furthermore you should say who was having a problem with who and what the problem was. i think karch is a total ego maniac and does have a my way or the highway attitude-"we decided to go with a younger group" [bye logan thanks but no thanks i'm the HBIC now. I don't know how to handle/manage you so you're out]. hey setter set the hut from 10 ft off the net to the outside and trap her because it's my system. has he even reached out to destinee and be the bigger man and a great coach? Ok kokyu 2.0, i love your conspiracy theories and all, but lets get some things straight. Saying that they get the job done isnt the full story. The team choked in 2012 with hooker and tom on it, in a match that they totally couldve won. Before karch starting coaching the womens team didnt win any major tournament (and they had like 52 years to do it). The first major that karch is head coach in, they win (without logan and destinee). Am i saying that they will win every tournament they will ever play in? No. And thats what sucks, no matter how well they do, there will always be people like you who use every single slip up by the team as a reason for why karch sucks. In all reality, no matter what karch does from now on, hes still the most successful us womens coach theres ever been. Second, if karch is such a control freak, then why does nearly every player in the us gym describe the team as a "judgement-free zone where everyone can be themselves?". Karch values creating a positive environment for all of his player which means excluding negative ones. Seriously its not like jordan, foluke, alisha, and christa have been begging karch to get destinee and logan back on the team. Also karch really must've tricked his coaches into voting him as team captain if he was such an awful teammate.

I honestly want plum to be given a shot, JUST SO KOKYU can get his satisfaction of seeing her on the national team and we can get our satisfaction of seeing him not like her once she messes up. Plum was given her shot at the red/blue scrimmages. So it's not like Karch never gave her a chance. There is probably video somewhere. She didn't look to ... Same with N. Hagglund at playing libero. I hope they are both able to reach their goals, but to keep harping on them not being on the top tier roster isn't going to make them better players. No, she was forced into a drone offense that was even worse a year ago than it is today and Lowe wasn't even with the team yet, not to mention both Akinradewo and Dietzen were resting off active rosters. Plum had a better connection with Ajanaku after only two practices than Bugg does after three years together!

Can somebody clarify the Hooker conundrum. It is my understanding from social media accounts that after a public dressing down by Karch that she walked out of the gym in a huff and then tweeted the ill fated "this is not my team" tweet and then did not return the next day but waited? for a return call from Karch to ask her to come back to the gym.
Or was it after the tiff that Karch ordered her out of the gym and told her not to return? It was either a walk out from the team or an order out. I always assumed it was a walk out. Does anybody from the inside really know?
So is the assumption that she would have to apologize to Karch and the team before there would even be a consideration to re invite her back?

More Hooker drama? Where will she end up playing in 2016? Quoted from Inside Volleyball Forums..
According to the Tianjin Sports, Hooker will not be willing to Tianjin Bohai Bank Club when the club wants to sign the official documents with her. Destinee Hooker didn't sign the contract because she has some personal reasons of staying in USA.

I think it is safe to say Destinee will not be playing for a club this year. She is expected to have a baby boy in March.
