To date, the AVCA has inducted the following men's volleyball coaches into its Hall of Fame.
Doug Beal '03 Larry Bock '03 Jim Coleman '03 Don Shondell '03 Tom Tait '03 Al Scates '04 Bob Sweeney '05 Don Shaw '08 Marv Dunphy '09 Carl McGown '10 Arnie Ball '12
So here is my question, is Pete Hansen really the NEXT guy you would ad to that list?

The 15 year requirement is going to get almost every DI-DII coach. Below is some of the current coaches at schools with years there, does not include previous head coaching experience:
EIVA -
Pavlik - 21 years Chao - 17 years Baise - 8 years Shweisky - 5 years
MIVA -
Walton - 17 years Davis - 12 years Friend - 11 years
MPSF -
Most long term coaches already received award. Many current coaches don't meet 15 year requirement. Campbell - 18 years

I always ask myself the same question when AVCA Hall of Fame comes out. There are three coaches in Division III that I would have liked to have seen in this year's class of coaches, not to say they were nominated, but I think they are more than worthy. Dannevik from UCSD (5 National Championships), Kris Russell (over 800 wins), and Joan Sitterly (over 800 wins in just 22 years). The two Division III coaches that were elected this year (Condon and Schleuder) are completely worthy in their own rights, so it's great to see them honored.
