So the SEC Championship will either go to Texas A&M or Mizzou after last night. Florida still in the hunt, but UK is likely out after last night

I think the match Sunday is huge between Texas A&M and Florida...i think both will be seeded but i think this match could give a huge boost to the SEC in general but for the Aggies especially.
Last night was a solid defensive game on both sides. Ashley Dusek for Kentucky was all over the court making saves. Amy Nettles seemed to be in better position but i think that had to do with the block being composed better on the Aggie side. Kentucky looked a step slow closing the block opening up seems on the pins. Aggies had a balanced attack but didnt get the offensive hitting percentage from the outside. Nobody has the Brico type serve but had some good hard flat serves that i dont know if translated to tv screen.
Morgan Bergen seemed to have an off night, and was replaced in set three likely due to set location to the pins. Brooke Morgan is going to be real good basically hititng .300+ on a hobbled ankle which twice she went down for a play, subbed out and returned to the match.
For the Aggies, they have to serve more aggressive to stop Florida from hititng .500 like last match and letting Alahassan hit at will. If they do that i can see the way the Aggies are playing a 12th consecutive victory in conference.
I am curious where the top 4 of TAMU, KENTUCKY, FLORIDA AND MISSOURI would be in the Pac 12 and B1G. Aggies have beaten Minnesota and lost to Iowa. I think even with the Aggies playing the way they are it would be a reversal of those results with Minnesota and Iowa now
Edit: Debbie Green former Head Coach at Notre Dane and Olympic teammate of Laurie Corbelli has been added as a volunteer coach for the season

Smart move by Debbie. She played the Ray Allen card and looked to see where she could end up for the tournament run. Texas A&M picked her up off of waivers right before the deadline.

Florida's chances at sharing the SEC title are slim, but still exist. Disappointed in Arkansas' performance against Mizzou last night, but the Aggies win was critical for the Gators.
There's 2 scenarios they could realistically share the title. Regardless of the scenario, Florida must beat A&M on Sunday.
Scenario 1:
11/22 Missouri loses to Ole Miss on the road 11/25 A&M loses to Missouri on the road
Scenario 2:
11/25 Missouri loses to A&M at home 11/28 A&M loses to Arkansas on the road in the last SEC game of the season.
EDIT: Kentucky can share the title with the same outcomes as long as they win out.

If A&M beats Florida Sunday, would have to think A&M clinches a share at minimum. Would still have to win at Mizzou the following Wednesday to win it outright if Mizzou beats Ole Miss.
That being said, I like the Gators vs. A&M, but considering how much is on the line, A&M might rise to the occasion.
Either way, can we all agree that Mizzou and A&M have been good additions to the league for VB

After watching the TAMU vs Ole Miss match last week that went 5 sets I think Ole Miss could have won that match but made untimely errors. Ole Miss has definitely been playing better of late and has the talent to beat Missouri especially at home.
Florida losing to Auburn this past week was unacceptable to a team trying to win a conference championship. They have the best front row talent in the conference and top 5 in the country. They just struggle to pass and that neutralizes their talent. If they play to their talent level against TAMU they will win. The question is which Florida team shows up?

to beat Florida you have to serve tough and pass nails. Two things that Florida struggles with. (Reva is a good server and sometimes Dagostino is). IF Holston is on, she's great but she is often hot or cold- no in between. However, saying that I still think that Florida will beat TAMU.

TAMU is definitely due. They've been Florida's toughest SEC foe since they joined the conference. Every match besides the one earlier this year has been a nail biter.

TAMU is definitely due. They've been Florida's toughest SEC foe since they joined the conference. Every match besides the one earlier this year has been a nail biter. Texas A&M vs Florida since joining the league overall: 0-5 2015 0-1 (@florida L, a&M ?) 2014 0-1 (@florida L) 2013 0-2 (@florida L, a&M L) 2012 0-1 ( a&M L) Only twice did it go to 5 sets (both at home, in fact, A&M hasn't won a set @florida sine joining the league). Missouri vs Florida since joining the league: 3-4 (3-5 going back to 2011) 2015 1-1 (@mizzou W, @florida L) 2014 0-1 (@florida L) 2013 2-0 (@mizzou W, @florida W) 2012 0-2 (@mizzou L, @florida L) (Mizzou was the 1st opponent to sweep Florida in SEC play at home in 2013) 2011 0-1 (@uni L 1st RD NCAA) I just wanted to point out that this is kind of a reach to say this...

I guess I should clarify because it doesn't look that way on paper as you pointed out. The games between TAMU and Florida have been more tight and exciting. Missouri and Florida always seems like one team is significantly better than the other. I guess the exception to both of these comments happened this year though.

I am going to have to agree with jrmint. The Aggies havent played consistanly tough against Florida, there have been some great sets played and the fige set win by Florida at TAMU was great but Missouri has been a better opponent since the move to the SEC. And Kentucky as well. I expect another tough match sunday

Here's a quick look at how the teams behind Texas A&M could win or share the title if they win out:
Florida wins: MU defeats TAMU and loses to UM and SC UK loses at least one to LSU, UGA, or AU TAMU loses to MU and UARK
Florida shares: TAMU loses one to MU or UARK MU loses one to UM, TAMU, or SC
Kentucky wins: UF defeats TAMU and loses to LSU MU defeats TAMU and loses to UM and SC TAMU loses to UF, MU, and UARK
Kentucky shares: MU loses to UM, TAMU, or SC TAMU loses two to UF, MU, and UARK
Missouri wins: TAMU loses to UF or UARK
Missouri shares: TAMU defeats UF and UARK
Hopefully no mistakes there! And these obviously aren't all the possibilities. For example, Kentucky could still lose another game and share the title if things fell into place.
