Do you really think seeding stops the best team from winning it all?

AUSTIN- Texas over Wisconsin LEXINGTON - PSU over Florida DES MOINES - Nebraska over Minnesota SAN DIEGO - Illinois over Stanford Having Nebraska in it would make it really really special. If Hawaii were to come out of San Diego that would be a fantastic Final 4. Thanks this is exactly why I was asking, to possibly figure out who would go where. I like your predictions but will take Stanford over Illinois. That Texas/ Wisconsin game would be intense.

In a perfect world if seeds hold I can see those Regionals

Do you really think seeding stops the best team from winning it all? Seeding can certainly be a factor for travel and matchups, especially in the very difficult Regional Finals.

Do you really think seeding stops the best team from winning it all? This thread is for final 4, not winning it all. Seeding is a factor for the final four, I follow a lot of NCAA sports and the Volleyball committee always seem to make 1 or 2 head scratching decisions.

Stanford Nebraska Florida PSU
I don't see Wisconsin, Even with Carlini, realistically making the final four.

You know they will have a top 4 seed. The only team I can see texas beating is Florida, and thats because of passing, but still think Florida will have it in them to beat them. Nebraska may not get a top four seed, so I believe they can beat Texas.

I think Texas is a bit mortal this year. Still good because of oodles of talent, but I don't think getting sent to Austin is the death sentence it would be most years.

As well as their setting. I could see a florida lost, since they'll both suffer from the same things, amazing fire power, but uncertain passing, but I think Floridas Fire power this year outweighs Texas. And Its no question IMO that stanfords and PSU will beat texas. But depending on tournament match ups, Texas may very well get to the Final Four. I could see teams Like Illinois making it as well. It will be all up to the Committee and how the choose to seed these teams.

too much parity, I wouldn't be surprised if we see a totally different final four than what we are normally used to seeing.

Not sold on Texas. Great athletes but no ball control or defense. Every year Nebraska is predicted to go to the final four; they haven't been to a final four in 6 straight seasons. The final four being in Omaha is extra incentive for the Huskers but I'm not as convinced as others that they are a favorite. Stanford is interesting, this is the last shot for Bugg, Burgess and Howard but Ajanaku's absence is a big loss for the Cardinal. If pushed late in the tourney, I can see Stanford falling. Over the last few years, Penn State has shown that it can overcome the loss of key players. Sometimes winning is contagious, which seems to be the case with Penn State- they just find ways to win. I'd give them the best odds. I think the loss of Ajanaku is huge but could add a different layer of adversity that they've never faced before. I think Inky will still be a huge leader off the court and try to be as positive as possible with her situation. The others know the urgency and the freshman know what level they have to play at. Still going to be tough though
