We return the same passers and defensive players from last season, and they were good enough to reach the Final Four; no losses in that area. I don't see anyone making up for eckerman's and bell's offensive production. That reason I can understand. Someone has to make up for those losses.

I mean Nwanebu is going to be good. Who knows what kind of level she will be at. 2.38 kills isn't too much to ask from Ebony... Now the OH position is going to probably lack ur automatically predicting she'll be good and she'll be starting? if I were you I'd be worried about her chronic back injury which held her back in 2014. obviously it's not 100% since she didn't even participate in the scrimmage. Isn't "predicting' what we're all doing right now? I mean, who's to say Haleigh Washington doesn't encounter the same injury she faced last season?

I would say that Nebraska penn state is a slightly less likely regional match up because they are in the same conference. If penn state and Nebraska are one and two in the conference, I think they likely to be placed in different regions but not necessarily. Why? They did last year with Penn St and Wisconsin. It could easily happen again this year! And Penn State/Minnesota before that.

For me, the real question is not the Final Four, but can any team be competetive with Penn State in December. Texas offense is great against teams it can out talent but does not create problems for the few teams who have similar talent. Nebraska hasn't had an effective middle attack in years, and Stanford hits beach shots at critical points in defining matches. Florida usually peaks about the second weekend of the season. Rose is out coaching everyone and Penn State's talent is as good or better than ever.

No team IMO, will ever come close to the 08 team. Talent wise, no one can compete. That team had All Americans at EVERY position besides Libero, in which, she was fantastic in her own right.
They had first team AA at both pins, Middle and setter, and all could be considered the best at their positions, or at least, top 2. Blair and Ariel were also fantastic. Give credit to Nebraska for pushing that immensely talented team to 5 sets.

And Penn State/Minnesota before that. Yea, it's sure to happen again. [br Wisconsin and Minnesota are not Nebraska The Nebraska name is bigger then both those together. I'd be shocked if Nebraska and psu were in same region especially since Nebraska is hosting. As far as psu, I expect them to lose some early until they adjust their lineup to where it needs to be.

Their first three conference games are Wisconsin Minnesota Nebraska. I know they are at Rec hall but I think they will be vulnerable early. The constant for psu is they are always playing their best going into tourny

Didn't say it couldn't happen I just don't see it likely
