I don't wanna say it but, DAVE if it's not working change things up. Yes, even if it means taking Higgins out. Love her but Koelsch gave us a spark when we needed it. I have been one of the biggest rah rah's for Kendra last year....but tbh, I don't believe at least in this game, setting was the problem. The hitting percentages kinda prove that. I just like the fact that Dave allowed Kendra in to do her stuff and give the Bows a lift when they needed it. Yes, I'd personally love to see Kendra play more.....but at least watching tonight's game....it wasn't the setting that was the problem. It was our passing and defense.

Every good baseball team has a good starter and an excellent closer, which is what the Wahine have. Higgins the starter and Koelsch the closer. Meaning, I can see Koelsch coming in to set when the Wahine get to 20 points, or so, and closer out the set, or match.

Granato came in but all I remember is that she made one pass and served once.

I gave up on the stream and listened to the radio. Did the stream ever come back on?

Didn't get to see the game only the live stats so you're probably right. Although I do think Kendra can be a bigger presence up front at the net. Wish Dave would try a 6-2 just for a few games to see how it works.

wow everyone hyped hawaii up so much this player and that player i mean only nikki taylor REALLY improved on offense but her floor defense was lacking. greeley was steady and got better as the game progressed. maglio just terrible she looked lost. kahakai just did terrible too. our floor defense let easy balls drop in front of their feet. the passing was horrendous. im frustrated because i beleived all the hype about UH and it was there for 6 points or so then after that it was the same old hawaii team from last year.

They're interviewing Taylor in the postgame show. She didn't say anything new because it was all written about to death. However, she is indeed more articulate than I once thought.

What really pisses me off is that Huff didn't see court time. I get the feeling Dave doesn't really want to play her because she's going to bb in November. Why disrupt chemistry with a player who won't be with the team in the second half? Very unfair to her.

Why disrupt chemistry with a player who won't be with the team in the second half? she comes in for taylor who at one point was hitting perfect. tough to replace that.

Move Taylor to left. Sit Manu-Olevao. Huff in at right.

This team is better than last year. Not realizing that is on you and you alone. The hype is there because this team has the weapons and DEPTH to get very far this year. They certainly did not have it last year with Long and Passi on the bench. My expectations of this team are right on....while yours seems to have been way to high even for you. This team will progress and I see this team going far. One position needs to be looked into and that is at Libero. Things will shake out though. Maglio didn't look lost....she looked really timid and not confident on the court. Slowly she has to shake that off and realize she BELONGS on that court just like the rest cause she earned it. Once she finds that inner confidence....she'll be more than okay.

Move Taylor to left. Sit Manu-Olevao. Huff in at right. That may just happen on Sunday's. Hell why not. Dave did say she's the most improved of all of them. If Tai wants to sit on Sunday, so be it.
