I've watched the replay and I was watching all of last years matches prior to the season starting. The one thing I get disappointed at is Higgins reaction to a mistake she makes...she makes these expressions like she's"pissed off". Grant it part is due to the passing but as the setter, I feel she should turn around to her teammates and be like"my bad" or "it's okay, we got this"....but watching her reaction the message I get is ""f*k, can't we just do it right". I watched a few 2004-2006 matches and Kamana'o would turn, smile and knod her head to her teammates as if to say "no worries...we got this"...I don't get that from Higgins. I know I'm probably wrong, but if I made a bad pass and seen her reaction, I'd respond with " bitch you ain't better".... Okay...just my rant on Higgins I thought I was the only one noticing the bad body language and facial expressions... Really not conducive to a leadership position on the team. Maybe theres a lot of pressure on her with kendra in the wings.. but this is something IMO needs to change for the sake of team synergy. Karma has it's purpose. Imagine at the end of the season the 2 voted co-captains will be benched as Na Wahine find there most productive groove. Don't hana'ino your team...don't do it. Just saying

spot on but did you mean magil instead of maglio in terms of connection? Yeah meant Magil. Hope to see better play tonight. Excuse my little rant but what is up with the beer sizes. The large use to be 32 oz now they've shrunk it to 24 oz and are still charging the same. I felt like I was being ripped off every time a bought a beer last night--all three times.

Sorry to say, but that's the trend now days. Instead of raising the prices, they keep the prices the same, but give you less. Sometimes, they'll at least disguise it with a different look. Just look at those Cranola Bars, used to be $2.00 for 10...but now its $2.00 for 6. Same design, same looking box so some might not notice the difference. They're even doing it with Rice...15 lb bag for under $10....

Although makes no sense to talk about this match now after the Wichita State match has already finished, but I will anyway. Hawaii is an 18th ranked team, I think that needs to be taken into consideration for their play last night; so there shouldn't be any type of unrealistic high expectations.
Passing was a big issue, and the only unquestionable bright spots were Nikki Taylor and Magill, though there's potential for the team. But one thing I have to rant about is Olevao. For a 3 year starter, and a Senior, there shouldn't be that many miscues!!
Not gonna name any names here, but reading through this thread, there's definitely one poster who was really high on some good stuff. This wasn't a pretty match to watch no matter how optimistic you can be. So let's be realistic please!

The excuses will be made to falsely justify why others should not be in the starting line-up. Gotta love the dedication for whatever reason ugh.

Greeley really doesn't get much credit on here, but she is steady and her passing is really solid. She is sort of the quiet, not so flashy player that gets the job done!
