In any case these were impressive wins two top 25 wins to start the season SC may crack top 10 next poll. In the long run NC and BYU will help overall RPI so that's very good. Their RPI is going to amazing for the season given the strength of the non (and in) conference teams they play this year. Mick has a great schedule set up. I do not see how they do not "crack the top 10" considering they just dismantled the 7 and then the 11 seed. They were not close wins, they were with authority.

I was really impressed with USC this weekend. Bricio's arm is going to fall off by the end of the year. But I have a feeling she will carry this team all year long. Abercrombie has been impressive so far and she will continue to get better. This fast offense that USC is running will benefit Bricio in the long run, as she will have many 1 on 1's. Iam not too worried about Ford as I think she will improve as the season goes along. Passing was awful against BYU, but it will improve as Withingham and Garrick have been impressive in the backrow so far. My only concern is at setting, I really hope that they employ a 5-1 by the time conference starts. Johnson needs to focus in just setting and let Pizza play backrow for Abercrombie. The middles will be fine until Dunn comes back from injury, then you will see more slide attacks. Exciting year to be a Trojan fan.

I do wonder if the 6-2 is a fix to spread the court while they're without the slide attacker. I do like Baylee's aggressiveness though. It should be noted that these may be the two best blocks USC will face all season.

Bricio was a highlight reel last night killing the ball from everywhere on the court. Her line kill was awesome as she can get complacent. Also them running the X play where Ruddins was in the middle and Bricio comes in for the kill was fantastic.

I don't remember her doing it that much her freshman year.

I was really impressed with USC this weekend. Bricio's arm is going to fall off by the end of the year. I Have not seen a player like this at USC since Kaczor who is able to just kill it all over the court.

I'm thinking based on Bricio's and Whittingham's performance this weekend, they should get the Pac12 Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week nods. Bricio should also be the National Player of the Week!
