It will take a few recruiting classes and spring sessions for new coaches to really put their stamp on programs.

It will take a few recruiting classes and spring sessions for new coaches to really put their stamp on programs. That's true. But if AD's fired coaches and hired other coaches they thought were better, than it would seem that the team would play somewhat better with the "better" coach. I know the rosters are not the same exact but they are close. IMO, the newer coach has an advantage with new energy and support.

Sure - it's like that in any sport but the impact is usually miminal until the culture has changed.

Both Montana schools picked up two wins. Both Montana schools hired coaches coming from a high level of volleyball. In particular, I think JJ is a very strong hire. Utah showed great improvement while he was on their staff.

Saw all three TCU sweeps over Abiline Christian, Texas State, and Unverity Texas El Paso via streaming. Saw last home game of 2014 vs Texas live. TCU much improved albeit vs competition ranked lower than TU
Setters Smith (Iowa State transfer) and Heist spreading the offense around with adequate passing that could be improved.
Hitting much more balanced and good from McGuire (co MVP), Ashley Smith ( all Big12 and all tournament), Jill Bergstom ( Pepperdine transfer and all tournament), Blair Pickens and Sarita Mickals.
Middles closing blocks and helping Sutton Sunstrom and back row.

From what I saw these teams looked improved: TCU, UCI, Fullerton vs Alabama These teams ldid not: Notre Dame, West Virginia, Baylor and Clemson. Clemson played poor. And what leads you to believe Clemson played poor ... The scores? Did you actually watch them play? Their offense was faster and defense was better than I have seen recently ... There's just no Mo Simmons to bail them out. They started 4 freshman, a sophomore, a junior, and a transfer Libero. And their best projected outside was injured during warm-ups of the first match. Had to be subbed out before a point was played. It's going to take a little time for them to reap the benefits of the new coaching, but they will be fine.
