TBH I expected Buechler to be much improved and she's not. TBH I expect her to be the next Kelly Reeves who came into college scene a solid player with little upside and not much improvement over the years. She is slightly taller than Reeves but she does not jump high nor hit hard.

I saw her hit a few back row attacks hard against Virginia.

what is up with Carmona? is she injured or just not good enough to start? Lawless is not cutting it at the opposite position. She got playing time at FSU in her first year, dont think she transfer to UCLA to sit on the bench

If she's not injured can't believe (exclusive of Sealy factor) she wouldn't start over Lawless.

With the loss of Olga and Karsta, this team will continually be searching for someone to carry the load against good teams. UCLA seems to be getting farther and farther away from where they were when they won it all a few years ago.

Is this ucla's regular gym?
Or is the "normal" gym still being fixed from the flooding?
I haven't seen this gym before?

Anderson had 100 more swings than Lowe last year. And WVU was much worse than UCLA. Of course the Pac 12 announcers (cheerleaders) didn't mention their hitting percentages, you'd think I'd know by now not to listen to them.

Look at the current setting situation. He has to either rely on a last minute transfer or a freshman who never set before. Players like Felix and Frager have a different setters every year. He may bring in his best class next year but his weakness in recruiting need to be addressed
