Right...but she has been a 4th or 5th option offensively her first 3 years. If you look at top recruits, some have panned out and firmly established themselves as the very best player in their class or top 2-3 (a la Hodge/Carlini) while others didn't. The point I'm trying to get at is, do people anticipate that Lanier is on another level compared to the other top recruits, or is the talent level across the top recruits more evenly spread? Id say the top three recruits for 2016 are all on pretty similar levels. In the opening of the top 10, prepvolleyball said that the top three were almost interchangeable. and then the 4th recruit maybe had the best summer of the group...out-performing some first team AA's. lotta depth in this class!

Just curious, not being negative, but which First Team AA MB's did she outperform?

I believe that Alhassan was another MH on this team and if I'm not mistaken that's who they were referencing. Thought she was 2nd team AA, but nonetheless

She started for the jnt over Alhassan (second team AA, not first team), however I personally wouldve started both of them over Cuttino

Just curious, not being negative, but which First Team AA MB's did she outperform? She was voted best player of the tournament, i meant she beat out all the elite college players on the team for top performer. So you can argue she and Fitz have competed (and performed very well) with and against a higher level of competition than others in their graduation year. There's a lot of talented attackers in this class though... a lot of different people have potential. excited to see strivins go up against pittman, etc.

There is no way Agbaji would beat out Alhassan for a starting role. Alhassan is more athletic and is the more experienced. This is not a knock on Agbaji who I think deserves her prep ranking but Alhassan may be injured during that JNT stint. I'm only guessing and I could be wrong.
