Yeah, yeah, I know that West Coast teams have problems attracting good teams in the preseason, but let's face it, almost every other Pac 12 team has a more challenging schedule (except WSU). Will Cook at least try? Other than Wisconsin, what was the last ranked team to come to Seattle in pre-conference? I dont think UW's problem has been teams not wanting to go to Seattle, its the lack of being invited, or UW not wanting to schedule home and away. That isnt a big secret.

I don't know but I'm not sure how hard the Huskies are trying to attract good preseason opponents. Plus, I wouldn't mind seeing the Huskies travel to Austin, Madison, or other points east and south to fit in some good competition. Yes, they might lose some of these games but the experience would be invaluable.

It wasnt who was going to be way better over the next 4-5 years. I don't see UW being better than they are now in 5 years, and ND will be way better.

It's a shame, really, that UW has slipped back to a mostly-cupcake pre-season.
Not good for the fans. Not good for the sport. Not good for the team.

They almost had Texas scheduled for 2013, but the Longhorns backed out.

Understood. I see that the Sooners are now 1-4 on the season with three of the losses going five sets.

Washington has played way more top OoC teams away from home than they have in Seattle, so this claim seems pretty suspect.

They got slaughtered badly in 3 sets.
