Well Matadors...ready for tonight's super challenge against Cal Poly?
Both teams are playing well, this time CSUN is the underdog despite having a three-match winning streak but, I like...no make that I feel that CSUN is the favorite and that CSUN feel they're gonna win this match. Even though CSUN has defeated them quite handily past two-three years some of the veterans on the CSUN team oughta bring that up to the rest of the team, so it's not like they'll be in an huge uphill battle against Cal Poly.
Cal Poly has finally found some of their groove compared to the previous years which is good and the starting line-up for CSUN has started to jell which should be a good and fitful match for tonight.
No surprise here who I'm picking/sticking to win(but to others I'm prolly a very over-the-top delusional and nice Matador fan) this match - CSUN in four sets. Not gonna predict how many many set they'll lose. I(they) just to win at Motts Arena. Plain and simple.
Come back with two road wins CSUN! Fire up and Go Matadors!!

Cal Poly takes set 2, 25-22, or 23... But the game wasn't as close as the score indicates.
CSUN not passing well and CP blocking really well.

Jake? Where`s Jake?
Haven't heard from him. Even after their big win against LBSU. He must be hung-over from all the excitement. Lol!

Van Winden just a phenomenal hitter, right now she is the front-runner for BW Freshman of the Year honors.

Truly an amazing win against the Beach. But, to hear them describe it, CAL POLY hasn't the talent and should not have won.
Very poor sportsmanship.
GoPOLY!!!

Beating CSUN in three,...on a home court winning streak.
It's the blocking that has me so surprised.
GoPOLY!!!

A sign of being sore losers. They couldn't stop a freshman and sophomore at the pins for Cal Poly, and Poly middles ran circles around their middles.

oh brother - these are just a couple of BS posts
what in hades is Jake talking about - Jake has nothing but a general comment that is backed up by zilch - that's the definition of poor sportsmanship
as to what could and couldn't be stopped in the match, it had nothing to do with the pins - it had to do with Poly the better serving team in the match and with Poly passing off serve much better so that Poly's setter was able to keep LB off-balance the whole night - the key to Poly isn't their hitters (who are solid) - it's their setter & libero who are both outstanding

After you go over to your LBSU forum site,...than come back here and reiterate what you just posted. It's not you, but, your mates that are the sore losers. GoPOLY!!!Jake, to quote you - "to hear them describe it....." so Jake your statement could have implied the VB team or who knows who the fact is this Jake, ONE single post by ONE single poster on a home team message board referred to Cal Poly as 'inferior', that's hardly some representative 'unsportsmanlike' reaction by a group - and the fact is Jake that going into the match any credible ranking (Massey or Pablo) had Long Beach rated as the 'superior' team, so stating LB lost to an 'inferior' team is a perfectly valid statement anyway & hardly some sportsmanship indictment - regardless of the connotation you might not like about it why not have some perspective before giving out some lame impression about sportsmanship like that, because if you expect home team message board (from any university) posters to fall all over themselves providing 'acknowledgement' of your Cal Poly team, then you are seriously looking in the wrong place heck, just be happy Poly won a big match finally - and as Bill Russell used to say, the best team always wins - you giving some false impression detracts from that
