seems like the play of Holston has regressed from last year. She was the best opposite last year now, she may not even be top 3. she isn't top 3. Ambercormbie, Taylor, Whitney, Hodson, Rolfzen, are some of the ones who are better than her, and thats just off the top of my head.

And flordia drops its 3rd straight match and will plummet to the low teens, to high twenties.

Now that she is 6 rotations, her offense is really struggling.

It's hard to see how they lost this match from the stats. 11 more kills. 6 fewer hitting errors. So +17 over Ark. Close to even in every other respect except serving where they were a -10 while Ark was a +2. That's a huge differential. They clean that up, they should win this match.

Wow, raise your hand if you saw this coming two weeks ago. The Gators are a bunch of head cases right now. I still hope they can pull it together by December, but it's not looking good.
This reminds me of one of those years when Angie M. came in — maybe the first season after the national runner up year — and they just went to pieces.

Holston is better than her. Taylor is the best six rotation opposite. Whitney can be dominating as well, but only plays front row.

This reminds me of one of those years when Angie M. came in — maybe the first season after the national runner up year — and they just went to pieces. I was impressed with Abby though I thought she generally set the middles better than Dagostino when she did get a chance to set them. I'm annoyed our players can't pass well, dig well, and cover their hitters consistently. Three or 4 times just in set 5 someone could have popped the ball up off the block and they could have had another swing, then the passing errors and service errors it was a miracle this match went 5. The players keep saying they want a national championship I think they should be realizing they can't play this poor and get there, and I know the coaching staff keeps reminding them as well but wow...

I still think Holston is good just not first team all american good like she was last year. This year I think it will go like this Taylor first team, Whitney second team, Hodson and Holston third team.

Return from a wonderful vacation to see that the Gators have completely fallen off the wagon. And by falling off the wagon, I mean they rolled off the wagon and fell 400 feet into raging rapids and then fell off Victoria Falls. And now they're rolling downstream in the lazy river like "yeah, volleyball...riiight". There must be a lot of internal strife and/or Wise has lost her touch. Not sure that Florida has ever lost 3 SEC matches in a season before since Wise has been there, much less 3 in a row.
It's like they beat Texas and Oregon and the season ended for them. No perspective or focus to win a title. Someone needs to step up or this will quickly go from one of Florida's most promising years ever to the worst year in the Wise era. At least I got what I asked for at the beginning of the season in that the SEC is surely "challening" us. :/
Anyway, how bout that football team lolol.
