Mary said in her post-match interview that Dagostino will likely be out for a while, so this is a big chance for Abby. I think she has the physical ability — I just hope she's a quick learner.

Return from a wonderful vacation to see that the Gators have completely fallen off the wagon. And by falling off the wagon, I mean they rolled off the wagon and fell 400 feet into raging rapids and then fell off Victoria Falls. And now they're rolling downstream in the lazy river like "yeah, volleyball...riiight". There must be a lot of internal strife and/or Wise has lost her touch. Not sure that Florida has ever lost 3 SEC matches in a season before since Wise has been there, much less 3 in a row. It's like they beat Texas and Oregon and the season ended for them. No perspective or focus to win a title. Someone needs to step up or this will quickly go from one of Florida's most promising years ever to the worst year in the Wise era. At least I got what I asked for at the beginning of the season in that the SEC is surely "challening" us. :/ Anyway, how bout that football team lolol. The sky is falling. The sky is falling. Which way do we go? I didn't see the match but off with their heads!

The stat discrepancies are not surprising, given that in both games they lost, Arkansas played terrible -- double digit hitting errors in each. In the competitive games, they served better, blocked almost as well, served MUCH better, and hit just about as well, if not better. Florida played at a fairly consistent level, just not all that well. Arkansas played either very well or very badly. And they certainly played the big points better.

Wow, raise your hand if you saw this coming two weeks ago. The Gators are a bunch of head cases right now. I still hope they can pull it together by December, but it's not looking good. This reminds me of one of those years when Angie M. came in — maybe the first season after the national runner up year — and they just went to pieces. They still got the Mai tais and sunsets from Hawaii stuck in their brain. They can't get it back together. That's what happens when you come to Hawaii. Lol!

Florida cannot pass, and with the fire-power they have it does not matter if the passing is not good. Nobody really anticipated the loss of the libero and DS from last year would be this big od a problem but it is.

It is really hard to see in the replay aside from the contact between her an Alhassan but it is clear that Dagostino was dazed and hurt. She then played the entire 2nd set (which Florida dominated) but did not play any more after the break.

So how far will the Gators drop now that they lost 3 in a row? Out of the top 10?

So how far will the Gators drop now that they lost 3 in a row? Out of the top 10? Well, yes - I mean they're at 9 right now; so they can only drop one spot and still remain in the top 10. Assuming that quite a few voters will place them out of the top 10, in order to stay at 9 they'd have to have quite a few votes ahead of place 9. If any voters rank them better than 9th after this weekend, those voters should be banned. I'm gonna go with 14.

And how high will Arkansas be in the poll? They were essentially "#26" last week, and this win has to get them the votes necessary to enter the poll. Wins over two top 15 teams, only losses to ranked Kansas and a decent Creighton team. 23?
