Pacific hit .289, .293, -.088, 0.00, and -.053. The wheels came off after set 2. BYU hit .088, .100, .219, .333 and .429...they just kept rolling stronger as the match progressed.
Most importantly, BYU outblocked Pacific 19-5.
BYU freshman Lacy Haddock came in late in the match and had 6 kills (.455) to spark the team. She is one of the twin sisters of last year's OH Tambre Nobles.

Wow after set 2 I thought that Pacific would have a chance at taking this match but looks like they just weren't able to finish.

Elman is going to hit the century mark in attempts in a match this year. She's at 66 through 4 and that's with sets that have varied from "not close" to "BLOWOUT" Not much happened for Pacific in set 5. Elman finished with 69 swings (23 kills, hitting .145), and Gray had 63 swings (14 kills, .095).
