This is cool. I am in favor of having as many televised volleyball matches as possible. I am interested to see USC to see how good they are. I still am not sure how exactly they lost to Illinois, even though Virtue played in that match.

I think whoever wins the Pac-10 will have a couple of league losses. USC is incorporating a lot of new players. The senior leadership is outstanding. Plus Florian, who has only played a little, looks to be one great player.

THis is slightly off this topic, but where does USC practice? I had some time on my visit last week and was going to wander over to surprise Mick, but couldn't figure out where they were.
I initially thought the Lyon Center sounded right, but when I went there, I didn't see anything that could have been confused for volleyball practice.

I believe the North Gym where their b-ball teams practice.

I believe the North Gym where their b-ball teams practice. Is that the one right in the middle of campus? I heard balls bouncing and shoes squeaking from outside that building, but it sounded more like basketball so I didn't go in.

The team practises in South Gym in the PE Building (overlooking the track) in the middle of the campus.

Yeah, likely North Gym where they'd practice. I haven't seen USC play a ton this season, but I feel like some of the freshman are being way underutilized. I don't quite get why Florian isn't getting more playing time instead of Copenhagen. I mean, SC pulled in top 3 or 4 recruiting class, but the freshman aren't playing much of a factor. I do think that Gysin and Florian could make a difference and improve the team.

They are the two time defending champions who are slowly integrating their new players.
