Not a very clean match on either side but congrats to TAMU for pulling out the win. Larson and Munlyn had great matches, Kahn seemed to struggle again tonight. Missou shut down Reasor and Hardesty but Aiple and Babers were key and always found a way to be the difference. Nice job TAMU and congrats! Who is Kahn? What school does she play for? If you're referring to Missouri's Carly Kan, she did struggle. Part of that was taking some swings on really bad balls. Part of that is everyone is focused on her, which led to some good swings for the middles and opposites. But if Missouri is going to do anything in the NCAA Tournament, they need her to be effective.

Congrats to the Aggies on the win and the league title. Their reward will probably be an all expense paid trip to Austin, though. Since they were able to handle the physicality of Florida, they would have a chance there, but it isn't an easy proposition.

Huh?
I don't think we will be going to Austin in a sub regional maybe regional if the Aggies can make it to the Sweet 16
I haven't seen the match as we were driving but got a look at the box score and some comments...mirror image of the match at College Station
1. Stop Kan on outside...but allow Larson to have a solid night
2. Pass decently when needed but overall not have an exceptional passing match
3. Ineffectiveness by one pin hitter...in this case low hitting percentages for RS and both OH but have Blake come off the bench and make some plays
4. Get out blocked by a huge margin
5. Find ways to come back at the end of the sets...make a key play here or there when tight
6. Have Munlyn go off but have Babers and Sullivan carry the team...using slide effectively and getting deep tips to corners when caught playing a shallow middle middle defense by the opponent
Congrats to the Aggies...according to projections might get the #6-8 seed overall...little high but would expect them to play well against any team coming into Aggieland at this time

A 7-0 run by A&M wins set 4 MIZ 22 AM 25 Meltdown by Mizzou (and it was visible, they looked like all out of sorts) That was their title chance. What a mess. never recovered in set 5. A&M controlled Kan (played her worst match of season by far, maybe career), and didn;t get hurt too badly by Larson. Nettles was excellent. Aiple, babers were what we thought they were. Full value to A&M, but Eckenrode/Thater/Kan will be seeing that last rotation in the 4th set in their nightmares.

I bet every single volleyball fan in the country if asked would take Alhassan, Dagastino and Holston as a collective group over Babers, Sullivan and Aiple. Except me. They play with passion and this year Sullivan has willed some 5 set wins and the entire team takes on her persona

I like Aiple...solid setter, good size to block, controls her short serve. She made some nice adjustments after the break that really helped neutralize Missouri's block.

No I was just comparing a group to another group. I think Florida has the best roster in the SEC but this year didn't have the mental ability to play from behind or toughness to fight. I don't know why but that lineup should have gone thru the SEC with no more than one loss

A&M has done what they needed (staff and players) to win their big matches. But, watching Kentucky, Florida, now Mizzou basically melt down after gaining big leads definitely leaves me scratching my head. They won't always be that fortunate . . .

I might take Aiple over Dagastino she is very underrated.
