Bugg will be at least second team AA. Hodson is on the bubble between First Team and Second team. Hodson is easily first team.

I don't get why Rolfzen and Hodson are first team over Neal..... About 1 kps-ish less hitting the same or lower percentage with close to the same digging stats. Both have blocking over her (and I think both are better blockers) but some of that comes with being on the right. And no Nolan, but you have Wittingham, Strickland, and Morey? UT GRAD here, so there's no bias here at all! I think that Hodson is probably the best player, aside from Bricio. Amy Neal is a great player, but I think Hodson brings more than just stats against not as great teams. It's not fair to compare Neal and Hodson. Different caliber players playing in different leagues. I see it as, if Hodson was on Texas' team, she would play outside over Amy. And as far as Nolan is concerned, different leagues. I'd take the other three over Nolan any day of the week. Well then it depends on what you're trying to do here. If you're going off if different players were on teams would they play over each other then this might be correct. Hayley would start on the outside for literally any team in the country. But Amy has better stats on a higher ranked team than both of them. If you're trying to predict AVCA AA teams then I think Neal should be included on first team. Also, we'll just agree to disagree on Nolan. I would have her before any other collegiate libero in the nation regardless of conference. I'm not talking about stats. I think she is just flat out a better libero. She just happens to have stats to back it up.

I think Hawaii will flop honestly, you're 26-1, with an RPI of 26. Okay so aside from what many might think, Bugg is still a high caliber setter, despite not having the firepower she has last year! If you could name another setter that would go over her, then I'd consider saying if I was wrong if this setter was elite! I'd say my third team was a reach. But I'd say my 1st and second teams are pretty close, you're not going to find more than nit picky issues on whether a person should be first or second team. Magill is having a monster season and is putting up better statistics than half the players you listed, your predictions suck. Put her against any of the middles that I have on the first team list and I think she will flop like Hawaii always does. Hopefully y'all make it to a Regional this year.

And I didn't mean it as I don't think Rolfzen should be on first team, I meant I didn't get why she was and Neal wasn't.

I think Hawaii is definitely a dark horse in the race and many are quick to underestimate this Hawaii team. Hawaii is simply chomping at the bit. They will also be well rested come tournament time as they finished it season while others continue to play on. I also believe that come the first round....Hawaii will actually have all players off the injury list for the first time this season! Can't wait!

I would flirt with the idea that she is prolly the best Libero in the country but I've thought that before and the fact that I never see it come to fruition maybe what made me leave her name off. As far as Nolan, I see she's a good Libero, prolly the best in the Big12, but yet I don't see it on the AA list. If she makes it, you have the satisfaction of knowing that you told me so. All of this isn't taking into acct that fact there are still some big games to be played. I like to jump the gun though.

Still don't see Hawaii pushing past sweet 16. I hope they do something though, I actually like shoji. Hate to see Hawaii not being an elite 8 game since 2009 or maybe 2011(with danielson). Either the fact that I have a hard time remembering isn't alright.

Hawaii WAS a final four/elite 8 team in 2011, but they had to face a top 3 and at the time number one USC team I'm the sweet 16. They were robbed cause of the idiotic way they placed teams.
And the other years, well when you have to play Washington in the second round EVERY other year, it's gonna be hard to make it out. The byu loss was the only bad loss the wahine have had in the tournament in recent years.

Some Hawaii fans don't like the fact that Hawaii has all this time off before tournament time. In most years, I'd actually agree with them. But this team has been injury plagued all year it seems. These two weeks allows Hawaii to heal up (Greely w/ her shoulder, Nikki Taylor w/ her knee and elbow, Mitchem w/ her pinkie sprain)....and it couldn't have come at a better time. Hawaii will come out to bang.....you don't have to worry about that.

Olivia Magill to me is a First Team All-American candidate. She is the reason Hawaii is the #1 blocking team in the country. She hits for a high percentage and one of the most dominating middle players in the country along with Sybeldon of Washington. She's hitting a high percentage with inconsistent setting. Imagine what her numbers could have been if she had a setter that could set the middles.....

Till this day I ponder why Hartong tried to hit against Gil's block on match point.....

I think its crazy how SSS fails to make an appearance on any of the three teams in this prediction. I also echo the statements about JWO deserving to be 1st team despite libero status holding her back, as she's a dandy for the Cornhuskers!
