Olivia Magill to me is a First Team All-American candidate. She is the reason Hawaii is the #1 blocking team in the country. She hits for a high percentage and one of the most dominating middle players in the country along with Sybeldon of Washington. The reason why Hawaii is the #1 blocking team in the country is because they are a superior team in a crappy conference. Yes they are a good blocking team regardless, but still. They were out blocked in a majority of their REAL matches this year. Real matches? Lol, dumbass.

Magill will likely be a 2nd team AA.

I think its crazy how SSS fails to make an appearance on any of the three teams in this prediction. I also echo the statements about JWO deserving to be 1st team despite libero status holding her back, as she's a dandy for the Cornhuskers! I don't know if there's any First Team AA caliber liberos this year. There's several good ones who should certainly be on a AA team. But there's no Natalie Hagglunds.

Should be somewhere in the libero conversation-Morgan Heise of SMU-she is the reason this team is tournament bound.

Magill is having a monster season and is putting up better statistics than half the players you listed, your predictions suck. Put her against any of the middles that I have on the first team list and I think she will flop like Hawaii always does. Hopefully y'all make it to a Regional this year. LOL.....how much times have you actually seen her play? She has been the only consistent player on that team going on 2 years. She could easily go toe to toe with your AA middle blocker list. Again, under estimating a Hawaii player like you underestimate the team. It's cool though.

I think both Rolfzens will make AA honors. Amber has matured into a very good MB. As to where they land well that is up to debate. JWO is AA as well. I do not see Kelly Hunter as a AA this year.

Of course if Hawaii gets sent to Seattle again. Both teams are very good serving teams, both teams have great middles, Hawaii's rightside is very good, not sure about the Huskies. But I really like the Wahine's chances this year.

I think Washington will win it, but Hawaii is very good this year and so I would rather see them defeat another team in another sub-regional.

I think Kadie and JWO make 2nd team. Amber should get 3rd team at worst if voters are paying attention. If Amber had played all year (at least since moving to middle) like she has the last 10-15 matches, she'd be 1st team. Cook will have an embarrassment of riches at middle next year with Rolfzen, Holman, and Stivrins. I wonder if he moves Amber again or possibly redshirts Stivrins? Maybe Amber becomes the L2 since Kadie is better on the right than left. However, Amber is the best net defender and has value on the right. Debate best saved for another thread, I suppose.

I think you're confused. Internationally speaking, she's been terrible in terms of serve receive. However, she was a fine passer in college... just like one of your favorites... Megan Hodge, whom can't pass a ball to save her life, professionally speaking.

Amber Rolfzen is one of the top middles in the country. She would be on my all star team.
Also impressed with santana this season. Outstanding oh.
