Honestly Crouch may be having a rough time but remember only a limited handful of these girls are his recruits. That being said, he has some great talent for the future and I think in a couple years they can be a consistent top 10 team again! You need good coaching to consistently stay top 10 unless you are Texas lol Crouch is a disaster and I am loving it tbh.

At least Sealy is just as bad. I am well aware of this lol Like I said, “LA, where volleyball went to die.” Both schools will continue to recruit themselves to some degree, though.

Yup. Disaster = "Let's ask the boosters of substance who they'd like to be friends with..." doesn't work so well. That is literally what happened at USC. A billionaire jock sniffer named Wayne Hughes - who has donated something like $400 million to USC - wanted his close friend Lynn Swann in as AD, and the then President was happy to comply in the hopes of more huge donations coming his way. There is a lot of speculation that the timing of Swann's "resignation" is related to the LA Times front page article on Sunday, revealing Wayne Hughes as the "secret donor" who was behind the Swann hiring.

Exactly how much more than practically a half BILLION dollars would you require to allow that donor to select the AD? Why couldn't USC have simply made a deal with Swanny/Hughes that USC hire a real AD but call him/her the Associate AD (and still pay them as they would a real AD), let Swanny keep the office and title, let the Associate AD make the real decisions, and Swanny would get to pretend to be the AD? He seems to have been "playing AD" the whole time anyway. Certainly US Presidents have done that. And most intelligent wives allow their husbands to pretend they're in charge, too.

If you want to hire an alum/ex-football star, why not just create a position of Sports Ambassador with a job description that includes fund-raising/recruiting/marketing/speaking/etc and have the person report to a real AD.
No need to fuzzy it up by calling someone a 'pretend AD.'

Social media posts of USC’s first practice in Galen and doesn’t appear that Khalia was there but not sure. Baptista was.

What are these bra things they have on the outside of their t-shirts? Different girls seem to be wearing them during different practices. Some girls on each side have them on during the short videos they are posting. Also, why is some dude setting on one side when they have Marina to set the other side from Lazaro?

It's a sport technology wearable called Catapult. A better version of VERT if you have heard of that. Tracks A LOT of data. Not sure what Connor is doing out there setting...Marina out or in class or no good?

Miss Albania (Cindy) can’t get hurt/injured or scarred prior to her Miss Universe competition. If we can’t win the natty this year, at least we have a shot at winning in an international beauty pageant! ;-)
