Then why respond to my posts, which then elicit further "useless posts" from me? On a scale from 0-100, your motivation for posting or not posting influences my posts, is about a -1. See how that works Ay? or are you going for the "I'm going to pretend I'm cooler than everyone else by acting like I don't care what you post about me" line....bahahahahaha If you feel the need to response to the word "ok", that's on you. I honestly don't care what your views are. It doesn't stop me from doing anything on here. I'm not the one that said that someone else's posts are a reason why I don't post. Can we at least agree on that? Not a very smart retort, frankly. it's a pretty smart retort because at the end of the day, you feel the need to post on other schools' threads because maybe you just feel inferior about your own program...so enjoy your time on your high horse because trust us, you aren't bringing a trophy to Seattle any time soon...

and yet Ay...you still feel the need to keep posting on a thread of a rival school... I'm not understanding your point. Are you saying that as a USC fan, you have never posted in a UCLA, Stanford, or Washington thread? You do know that your volleytalk history is available for anyone to see right? I'd think twice before posting hypocritical statements. you have been a hypocrite from day one...enjoy that fact.

I will try to get past the troll. I expect Weindel will be good for coaching and teaching contemporary technique. I don't know how he will do as a recruiter. Mick still has energy to do most of the legwork for recruiting. I believe the rule now is three coaches from a school can all be recruiting at the same time. I know USC is represented at the Triple Crown Event this weekend, probably Mick. There are many things going on for prep players this weekend. Does anyone know if Weindel is out recruiting somewhere.

I don't know the answer to your question, but I am wondering how the new coaching staff will do on the recruiting front as well. I'm sure that Nollan left a solid framework of future recruits for USC, as he was the heavy lifter in his time there. Mick will continue to do what he does, but Kennedy has no recruiting experience, and Weindel...I wonder if his history at past programs will hinder his potential successes?

yeah they should just drop the program now based on your opinion.... Except I didn't give an opinion, merely stated a couple facts and posed a question hoping to bring this thread somewhat back into the realm of talking about USC's future.

Mick was, is, and always will be the primary recruiter at USC until the day he steps down. Everybody else - Tim, Cookie, Jason etc - were/are there to carry his water. USC will be fine. And I don't know Weindel, but by all accounts he's well-regarded by players and staff.

vbct3, what's your beef/obsession with Weindel? Did you apply for the assistant job and not get it when it went to him? I have known Kyle for a long time. He doesn't have a jaded past like you keep alluding to. Truth is, he is now a part of USC past, present, and future. Get used to it. Go, Women of Troy!
