So can nebraska beat texas Thursday? They've beaten everyone they've played this season at least once, including Texas. So I would say yes, they have a shot. Texas is a much better team this time around..

I think Nebraska can do it. I think Texas will bring some serious energy for revenge. ..rooting for the big red. Id like to see nebraska repeat for the history books.

Okay. Three things. 1. You're an idiot. 2. No matter how many times you characterize my question as correction (I think we're up to a dozen), it will never be accurate. 3. You're an idiot. And if you classify Sheldon as a "high profile journalist" you have very low standards. Oh....we know Nebraska...you are far superior to Sheldon in every way....in your mind and of course you thought it appropriate to contact him and correct his article. I am surprised you are not contacting John Cook to inform him of how he should run his offense. *MOVED TO NEBRASKA THREAD* I thought we all agreed that the print journalism around here was rubbish. Sheldon is palatable, but it's always best to just watch the press conferences yourself, since most of the quotes in the papers are pulled from them.

For what it's worth, there's nothing wrong with suggesting corrections to "news stories." Not really sure why this is an issue except using context and looking at who levied this "criticism" initially and it makes a little more sense.

Not really sure why this is an issue except using context and looking at who levied this "criticism" initially and it makes a little more sense. Okay.... This will hopefully clear this dumb!!!!###$$$!!!ery up as HH brings it up every other frigging week. Bellow is a link to the article in question. In the third to the last paragraph, the author names a few players from other teams that had graduated but had given NE trouble in previous season. However, when he got to Ohio State, he didn't actually name the players but simply mentioned that "they had given Nebraska fits." I thought it odd and maybe even a little disrespectful not to have named them as he had done for the girls from the other schools. Not really a bit deal I know, but I was curious so I shot him a very short email that simply said I had enjoyed his piece but was curious as to why he failed to name the players from tOSU. He thanked me for my compliment and said he meant no disrespect but that he was simply afraid his paragraph was getting too long. End of story. Now I don't recall how this became something I would share on here but I did and it's become a huge deal to the idiot HH to bring up claiming me to be arrogant because, in HH's small little mind he thinks what I did was correcting "a well respected, high profile journalist." This is REALLY not a big deal to anyone but HH nor should it be. Check out the piece if you're so inclined. www.omaha.com/huskers/volleyball/sheldon-huskers-still-have-unfinished-business-in-the-big-ten/article_143cbf88-930a-561d-bae0-2c70caedb272.html
