Gophers sweep 30-21, 30-26 and 30-27. Highlights: *Paula Gentil served for BOTH middles in game 2--and the FIRST time through the rotations. I still don't understand how the scorekeepers are missing this stuff. Big discussion at 27-19 or so. A little late, yes? *Jessy Jones saw her first extended action, playing all of games 2 and 3 for Meredith Nelson. She had her moments, both good and not so good. But she's going to be a player. *Northwestern was way behind in game 2 and ran a string from 19-27 to 24-27 to make it close. They were fairly far ahead in game 3 (21-17), but Gophers came back. *Gophers were very good at the end of all games this weekend. Not so much early. *Tree Bratford (16-0-32!) and Erin Martin (18-4-34) both had big matches. Jess Byrnes had another nice match offensively. *Brittney Aldridge was hitting .700 after 2 games, but finished at .389. One thing I noticed at matches is that Associate Head Coach Boos looks so mad all the time. I have not seen this before this year. It looks like he isn't having any fun at the matches at all. If a promotion does that to me I don't want to get promoted.

Really? I don't see that at all. That's odd.
Regardless, my impression, from talking to him, is that Dave is having a ball.
