Was anyone else impressed with her play tonight or was it just me? Except for getting blocked once on the left, she hit out of every position effectively. What a great player to have coming off the bench.

And she seems so calm and steady out there.

Yes, Teisa Fotu or "Tofu/Photo" according to Jim Leahy, has become one of my favorite Wahine.
She made a couple errors tonight, but for the most part she took swings and that was great to see. She really can hit the ball hard.
What I like most is that she is such a calm and well rounded player. She can play wherever Hawaii needs her. She really puts the "super" in supersub.
She had a couple of good years at a D2 level at HPU, but I had no idea she'd be able to contribute this much so well. It's sad this will be her final year as a Wahine.

I thought she did a solid job as well. But I was surprised after looking at the stats that her hitting percentage was low. I don't remember her making that many errors. Is the stat sheet correct?

She tipped in to the net, hit in to the net, and then was blocked. Okay, thanks. I guess I wasn't paying attention or maybe it's short-term memory loss. Was her hair long or what. That is a net violation waiting to happen.

I have to agree with all that was said here. Teisa Fotu is an excellent player and contributor for the Wahine. She is definitely one of my favorites as well because of her calmness and her ability to play every where. I really liked seeing her getting to hit and play front row tonight after playing really well in the back row. Teisa I think would be a starter on many other teams around the country because of her all-around skills.
I also have to agree that it kinda sucks that this is her first and only year with the Wahine.
