I can't get over how AWESOME she is doing for the Wahine!
I had NO idea she'd be the dominating force that she is. She has become one of the better offensive AND defensive middles for the Wahine in recent years. Prince hits slides with authority and her blocking has become very reliable. She just has this confidence that makes her so good.
IMO, Prince transferring to UH gave the Wahine that missing piece to their puzzle going in to this season. She really solidifies Hawaii and gives the Wahine so many options as a middle. Other teams have to honor her at all times.
Gotta love it!

I totally agree. She is the most consistent attacker on this team. Now here's a what if..... if Prince transferred to UH last year, do you think that she would have started?? I think that she would have. IMO, I think she is the best middle blocker Hawaii has had since Heather Bown. Thanks for transferring to UH Victoria. I wish you came when you were a Freshman. ;D

I've said it in a couple of other posts and it still stays true as Victoria Prince has been the Wahine's only consistent weapon since the start of the season, along with Kanoe Kamana`o of course.
The Wahine is blessed to have Victoria as she has solidified Hawai`i's middle attack and has opened up the outsides more for our hitters because the other teams have to watch her as well.
I'm not too sure if I would put her in the same category as Heather Bown yet, but yes I have to agree she is one of the best since Heather Bown.
But don't forget Lauren Duggins was a great middle blocker as well. She was no walk-over and Maja Gustin started her career off really well and then got injured and never got back to her freshman form. If Maja would have stayed in that form and improved over each year she definitely would have been one of the best middles in Wahine history. I honestly think that switch to the left side in her sophomore season really screwed her up. If she would have stayed in the middle throughout her career it would have made a big difference.

When she was voted to the preseason all WAC team, I though "For what? She hasn't done anything..." but boy am I glad to have been wrong! Looks like she is becoming the go to player Hawaii needs.
