LBSU is also participating in an early season tournament at Portland. I believe they will be playing Portland, Texas Tech, and Washington. Tournament schedule has not been finalized.

LMU, Arizona St., Duke, Pepperdine, San Diego, and possibly Washington are projected OCC opponents for Long Beach St. Let's hope that this schedule will be good enough for an at large should the Beach finish behind Hawaii in the 2016 conference race.

Hudson is a huge loss for the team; however, red shirt sophmore Missy Owens had two years to learn the system under her. I agree, LB will have to win most of these games to have a shot at an at large. BG usually schedules at least 14 OCC games and there is probably another home tournament-- hopefully with a few top 50 opponents--to be added to the schedule.

IF so, it appears as though the Northwest Challenge Tourney is defunct. The Portland (vs. Portland St.) coach is more of a vested friendship to Cook. With JMac the Challenge was started.

imo.
This is a make or break year for LBSU. It probably comes from / by the capable hands of UCSB. Should the Gauchos take 2nd, the 49ers will be hurt irreparably NATIONALLY.
I'm pretty certain of this.
