It seems like every thread on this board that mentions game tracker also will have something akin to the line "game tracker froze during game X."

Lubbock, Texas - Sophomore Joy Hamlin collected 10 kills on .450 hitting and had eight blocks, while Agata Rezende finished with 10 kills as No. 16 Kansas State swept Texas Tech, 30-28, 30-16, 30-24, Saturday night at the United Spirit Arena. With the win, Kansas State improved to 12-6 overall and 6-3 in Big 12 play, while Texas Tech fell to 7-8 and 3-6.
Defense was the focal point Saturday as the Wildcats put up a strong block against the Red Raiders, finishing with 13 team blocks. Hamlin finished with eight block assists, while Gabby Guerre had six and Lisa Martin five. Freshman libero Angie Lastra collected 18 digs in the three games, giving her 10 or more digs in 17 of the ‘Cats’ 18 matches this season. The Wildcat defense held Texas Tech to -.016 hitting for the match as they forced 31 Red Raider errors. Senior setter Gabby Guerre collected her second straight double-double after finishing with 36 assists and 11 digs.
K-State grabbed an early 5-3 lead in game one before the Red Raiders answered with three straight to take a brief 6-5 lead. Two Werner kills and back-to-back blocks by Rezende and Hamlin gave the lead back to the Wildcats at 12-8. After a Werner kill upped the lead to 16-11, Tech battled back to cut the margin to 17-15. With the score at 19-18, K-State upped its lead to 21-18 after a Hamlin kill on the slide and a Hejjas/Hamlin block. Tech made a run late as it went on a 5-1 run to tie the game at 25 and again at 27. After Tech took a 28-27 lead, K-State took the game with three straight, capped by a Rezende kill, to win, 30-28.
With a 7-5 lead in game two, K-State went on a 6-0 run behind the serving of Guerre to take a 13-5 lead. After the Red Raiders closed to within five at 17-12, K-State went on a 13-4 run to take a commanding 30-16 win in game two. The Wildcats collected seven blocks in the game and got three kills each from Hejjas, Hamlin and Werner.
Tech came out and grabbed a 10-9 lead early on in game three, but kills from Rezende and Hejjas gave the ‘Cats the lead back at 12-11. With the game tied at 14, kills by Guerre and Werner and several Tech errors gave the ‘Cats a 20-16 advantage. After Texas Tech battled back to tie the game at 22, K-State answered with five straight to take a 27-22 lead, highlighted by a Martin/Guerre block and a Hejjas ace. A kill by Martin and a Lastra ace sealed the win for the Wildcats at 30-24.
Kansas State returns to action Wednesday night at Ahearn Field House when Baylor visits Manhattan for a Big 12 midweek tilt. Also, last Wednesday’s match between the Wildcats and Nebraska Cornhuskers will be televised on Sunday at 3 p.m. CT as Fox Sports Midwest will carry the match.
